FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Squads and Tactics
The FUT app, the app FIFA 21 players spend the most time on and enjoy playing, means far more than a football match, with the objectives you complete and the squads you build beyond just going out to play matches.
When building these squads, team chemistry and your game plan directly affect your players' in-match performance and attributes. In building the squads I arranged for you, I took care to build them from players with the highest possible team chemistry who complement each other. Depending on your budget, you can try the squads I built or bring some of the players in these squads to your own team. In the end, what matters is that you play with players you are comfortable with and enjoy, and of course the 3 points. Without further ado, let's move on to the squads I built for the Premier League;
Different Squads and Tactics You Can Build in the Premier League!
FUT 21: 4-4-1-1 (Possession)

As the player cards show, the squad is expensive and can only be built by spending a minimum of 5 million coins on average on all consoles. This is the formation I prefer most, because the team always has a compact and balanced style. From the custom tactics you can play the possession game, and by also using the press-after-possession-loss option, the moment you make a passing mistake you can quickly win the ball back and continue with your build-up play. You can use this tactic comfortably with players who like passing and go to goal with mature attacks. When the game gets tight, you can open play out to the wings and go to goal with your fast wingers. For this reason I added the Premier League's fastest and most skillful wingers. At least one of the three players in midfield needs high pressing power to help the defence. Wijnaldum is really good at this. Depending on your budget, you can comfortably use each of their cards in your teams. If your striker is a fast player who runs in behind the defence like Vardy, you should choose a more technical player behind the striker, with developed dribbling skills and effective passing. The player behind the striker should also be able to test the goal with long shots. In this squad I chose Bernardo Silva's FUT Freeze card. If you have the budget, you can use it too. As a different alternative, you can pull Bruno Fernandes behind the striker and add a balanced player to midfield (like Pogba, Kante) to strengthen your defence a bit more.
FUT 21: 4-3-3 (Defensive)

This is again among the tactics I enjoy using and that bring results. That is because in FIFA 21, conceding and scoring are easier than in older games and the score can change at any moment. In this tactic, since you set up your defence more solidly, your goals-conceded rate drops seriously, and finding goals in fast counter-attacks with the skill moves of your wingers isn't even hard. From the custom tactics you can choose the long ball game and lower the team's defensive width. That way the opponent will have to attack you down the wings, and since you keep the middle crowded, defending gets even easier. In this tactic, instead of pressing the opponent, wait patiently for them to make mistakes; the rest is up to your quick-attack skills.
FUT 21: 3-4-1-2

I added this squad for players with a small budget who like a back three. In these kinds of tactics it is very important for the centre defender to run fast. For that reason I added Joe Gomez, one of the fastest defenders. If you apply the Shadow chemistry style to Gomez, his pace rises to about 90 on average and he turns into a really tough defender for the opponent. Take care to build your striker pair from players who complement each other. If there is a pivot striker type, definitely add a forward who runs in behind next to him. In this team, by choosing Kane as the target man in the custom tactics, sending Martial running in behind the defence and letting Fernandes roam freely, you make the front line mobile and hard to defend. The wings again should be fast players who can do the job on the touchline. Since it is this attacking, try to make sure the central pair are players with developed defending who bring the team out well into attack, so the defence doesn't develop weaknesses.
FUT 21: 4-4-2 (Defensive)

Again a low-budget squad you can comfortably build. The striker pair are again compatible players with different attributes. Lucas Moura, Saint Maximin and Sissoko are players above the price-performance balance in the game and create an unexpected contribution. In this tactic, send at most one of your full-backs forward and let the other help build up play. While Digne helps with build-up, Pereira can make overlapping runs with his pace and increase your effectiveness. When building low-budget squads, keep the team's defence as solid as possible. Remember that you can't know what kind of squad you will face, and a good defence can bring you a win in that match.
