What Is FIFA 22 FUT Champions?

FUT Champions was the game mode that gave the most rewards, in which FIFA Ultimate Team players compete on weekends for 72 hours (from Friday 10:00 TRT to Monday 10:00 TRT). This mode, added in FIFA 17, initially lasted 40 matches. FUT Champions has grown in importance every year, users have valued the mode more, and it has now come down to 20 matches. To tell the truth, if you are going to be ambitious in FUT, it is impossible to achieve that without joining FUT Champions and going after the rewards.

The steps you need to take to qualify are, in order:

1. Grind qualification points by playing Division Rivals
2. Use your right to enter the Champions Playoffs once you reach 2000 qualification points
3. Collect 22 points in 10 matches in the Champions Playoffs (4 points per win, 1 point per loss)

How Do You Enter the FIFA 22 Champions Playoffs?

The system to join FUT Champions is different from the one at the start of the game and the one that arrived in Season 3. But the start of the process works exactly the same way. The FUT Champions Playoffs are the first step we need to reach. We can think of the Champions Playoffs mode as a pre-qualifier. The condition we need to meet before joining the pre-qualifier is to collect 2000 points. We earn these points by winning matches in the Division Rivals mode. As divisions rise, the points we get per match also increase. In Division 1 you get 500 points per win, while in Division 10 you get roughly 25 points per win. For this reason, if you are in the lower divisions you need to put in some effort before winning the right to enter the FUT Champions Playoffs.

How Do You Join FUT Champions in FIFA 22?

Before this update, we could qualify for the Weekend League based on our performance in 9 matches in the mode called Champions Playoffs. While getting 4 points per win and 1 point per loss, we had to collect 24 points in 9 matches (that is, at least 5 wins and 4 losses). But this system has changed following complaints. Because many users said they could not get into FUT Champions if they did not win 5 of the 9 matches, EA Sports introduced a change. From Season 3 on, our right has been raised to 10 matches, and the points required have dropped to 22. That means you can qualify for FUT Champions with 4 wins and 6 losses.

If you reach 22 points early, you can finish the playoffs there. By pressing the square button in the Champions Playoffs menu, you can finish the Playoff stage and go straight to the real FUT Champions. Say you played 6 matches, got 6 wins and reached 24 points. If you play the remaining matches, the game will give you more rewards, but if you think it is not worth it, you can press the square button to move straight on to the real, 20-match FUT Champions.
