Genshin Impact 3.4 Update: Release Date, Banners and Skins (January 2023)

The Genshin Impact 3.4 update is scheduled for January 18, 2023 and will cover character banners, map updates and much of the content coming to the game. Along with the addition of a new 5-star Dendro character, the release of Yaoyao and the long-awaited return of the Lantern Rite Festival will be part of this update. Genshin Impact 3.4 Update Banners

The Genshin Impact 3.4 banners will cover the release of Alhaitham, the mysterious Dendro 5-star Sword user wielding Xiphos' Moonlight. Alhaitham's abilities are shaped around creating Light Mirrors that greatly increase the damage he deals and let him destroy his enemies with deadly AoE attacks. Yaoyao and Xiao will join Alhaitham in Phase 1, while Hu Tao and Yelan will appear once again in Phase 2 of the 3.4 update.

Genshin Impact 3.4 Update: Ayaka and Lisa Skins

Both Ayaka and Lisa will have their own outfits in the Genshin Impact 3.4 update. The outfit of Lisa, the 4-star Electro mage (A Sobriquet Under Shade), was inspired by her former uniform from when she studied at the Sumeru Akademiya. The outfit is said to be "a perfect balance between practicality and elegance".

The main POI of the 3.4 update is the Hadramaveth Desert, known for its machete-shaped mountain passes cutting through the desert plains. Travelers will need to navigate harsh sandstorms and fight new enemies to uncover the secrets of the hidden lost city.
