According to well-known GTA leaker @RockstarGTAVI, the upcoming game also has an aging system as well as a beard and hair growth system. That means, just like in real life, you'll be able to watch your character's transformation from a young character to an older one right before your eyes in the game. Of course, this is just a rumor for now, but Sims and other games have used a system like this before.

Earlier rumors that GTA VI will have a female protagonist have apparently been confirmed, so it seems some of the rumors have proven true.
