Which Class Should I Choose in Lords of the Fallen (LOTF)?

Based on our first impressions of Lords of the Fallen, the best classes in the game are undoubtedly Dark Crusader, Hallowed Knight, Orian Preacher, and Exiled Stalker. However, these classes only matter for the early stage of the game, because regardless of which class you pick, you can build your character however you want as you progress:

Dark Crusader

Dark Crusader will be one of the best classes in the game since it's included in the Deluxe Edition. But keep in mind that you can also unlock it in the Standard Edition later by playing further into the game. Focused heavily on Strength and Endurance, Dark Crusader is the ideal tank you'd want in a game like Lords of the Fallen. The class's biggest strengths are its health and damage, and the fact that it starts at Level 14, higher than the other classes in the game.

Hallowed Knight

Hallowed Knight can be classified as another version of Dark Crusader, though it's a bit weaker at the start. It has relatively good medium and heavy armor, and it starts with the best shield in the game. Its attack combinations with the Long Sword are also some of the hardest-hitting moves in the early stages of the game. If you want a playstyle similar to Dark Crusader but don't want to pay for the Deluxe Edition, you can choose Hallowed Knight instead.

Orian Preacher

Orian Preacher has one of the best early-game magic affinities, called Radiance. It can deal serious damage to enemies and can be used as both a ranged and melee weapon in Lords of the Fallen.

Many enemies early in the game are resistant to fire. So if you're a fan of magic, you can choose Orian Preacher.

Exiled Stalker

Exiled Stalker is the only dual-wielding class option you can pick at the start of Lords of the Fallen. Since this class relies on Agility, you can expect fast and devastating attacks in combat.

Its only downside is health, since it can be something of a glass cannon early in the game. Once you invest some skill points into raising its health, you can have a great time cutting through enemy hordes.
