What Is Pirates Journey About? How Do You Play?

The game begins with you and your crew getting shipwrecked on a tropical island in the late 1600s. At the start of your adventure, you only have a few basic materials, including ropes, sticks and stones.

Food and water, which will greatly affect your survival in the game, are your first requirements. Just like in real life, you need to have both of these to stay alive. You can gather blackberries and fruit on the island, but these can only ever be a limited resource. To fully develop yourself in the game, you need to start growing crops and raising animals.

Of course, to do that, you first need to clear a field and start planting. You can use sticks and stones you find to help clear the land by crafting primitive tools like a stone axe. As the game progresses, you get the chance to craft more advanced tools and weapons, including a pirate sword, to help you in your tasks.

But your challenge on the island isn't limited to just hunger and thirst. Wild animals like crocodiles and bears roam the land and can pose a threat to you and your crew. Don't forget that other pirate crews are also on the island besides you! So you need to be extremely careful and shape your strategy accordingly.
