When Will Resident Evil 4 Remake Release?

The trailer that premiered at PlayStation's State of Play confirmed that RE4 will release on March 24, 2023. The Remake stays tightly faithful to Leon's story while including an expansion for new players. Capcom appears set to stay true to the survival horror aspects of the game that made it such a huge hit with RE4 fans.

To make the game more realistic and scarier, new content is also being developed for PS VR2. While there isn't much information on this yet, experiencing RE4 in VR is going to be pretty terrifying.

What Will Resident Evil 4 Remake's Gameplay and Story Be Like?

There are rumors that the remake of Resident Evil 4 has been in development since 2018. Leaks also suggest that Resident Evil 4 Remake will differ from the original and take place in a "semi-open world." It's also rumored that the game's merchant and the chainsaw-wielding enemy will have expanded roles. Assets related to the Resident Evil 4 remake were leaked online during last year's Capcom hack, and some of the leaked images included shots of the village from the start of the game. Voice actor DC Douglas, known for playing Albert Wesker in Resident Evil 5, shared images of his character from the remake version of Resident Evil 4 with fans. The character in the image shows a redesigned Albert Wesker, so looking at the shared artwork, it wouldn't be wrong to think Wesker will play a big role in the game. Original game creator Shinji Mikami said the remake version could take on a scarier tone than the original, and that concepts that were glossed over in the final version could be revisited. For now, what we know about the game is limited to this information.

Will Resident Evil 4 Remake Come to PS4 and PS5?
