The Sims 4 has released its latest 1.106 patch notes to welcome the game's new Party Essentials and Urban Homage kits. This update also includes numerous bug fixes, including well-maintained plants that no longer emit "bad smell clouds," Social Bunny app timestamps, the group cooking interaction, and more. The Sims 4 1.106 Patch Notes: What's New?

Base Game Updates

• Plants that are alive and well will no longer emit green "smell clouds" as if they were dead. Translations for this fix will be available in the next release!
• Following changes made with the Landgraab Energy Company, a Sim's power will no longer be unexpectedly shut off once all their bills have been paid.
• Simmers playing in a language other than English will no longer see a blank First and Last Name panel in CAS for Sims who use pronouns.
• All Sims will now join in when doing Group Meals.

Gallery Server

• A few highlights from the Gallery server include:
  • Reduced rigidity around how hashtags are handled when listed in a specific order
  • Sims created by Maxis will no longer be blocked from uploading if you choose to recreate one or more of them, even from past Sims games.

Eco Lifestyle

• Fixed an issue where the Dew Collector wouldn't collect water. It will now correctly collect water, and the water level will keep rising.

High School Years

• Timestamps now update correctly in the Social Bunny app.

Horse Ranch

• Sims will no longer express a desire to level up once their Nectar Making skill has reached its maximum level.
• Horseback riding now helps Sims lose weight!

For Rent

• The current maximum rent value at 11C Sungai Point will no longer drop after a tenant has been evicted for an additional period.
• Landlords who own both a Rental Lot and a business will no longer run into fund transfer issues. Transfers from a business to a household will no longer fail, and money will no longer duplicate household funds when being transferred into a business.

Crystal Creations

• Crystal Creations' shawl sweaters can now be seen when "Fashion Select" is chosen in the CAS filters.

Realm of Magic

• Aliens will now become pregnant when they abduct a Spellcaster, giving birth to an alien baby instead of a Sim baby.

Werewolves

• Tastes like kibble! Sims will no longer show an anger glow after drinking the 'Wolf-B-Gone' potion.
• Updated a set of CAS accessories that were originally shown for werewolves, but that didn't actually apply to werewolves.

Grunge Revival

• Fixed a texture issue with the sculpted nails in Grunge Revival.

Poolside Splash

• Updated the textures on one of the athletic outfits to remove some texture bleed.

Castle Estate

• Updated all Castle Estate Windows to appear in the correct wall-height categories.
• Updated the arrow slit window to show that it can be placed on curved walls.
• Updated the "Governing Family Crest" and "Eavesdropping Llama" to appear on Outdoor Wall Statues.
