It is backed by gaming giant Ubisoft and a first-class investor team trusted by more than 130 football clubs, adding new teams and features every month and constantly evolving.

What Are Sorare Cards? What Are They For?

A Sorare Card is a player's officially licensed digital NFT for a given football season.

Thanks to blockchain technology, fans can collect their favorite players with the benefits of provable scarcity (fixed supply). Beyond that, Sorare Cards can be freely traded and used across the open world of different apps and games. Every collectible has many of the properties of other blockchain assets: it cannot be copied or taken from you. Users can also access the card's complete digital history. For the 2021-22 season, each Sorare Card has 4 scarcity levels available: Unique (1 copy), Super Rare (10 copies), Rare (100 copies) and Limited (1,000 copies)

What Is Sorare Global Fantasy Football?

Sorare is a global fantasy football game where you build your roster with a limited number of digitized player cards. Each Game Week, also known as SO5 (short for Sorare5), you can put together your team of 5 cards and earn points based on the players' performances in real-life football matches.

Every week your cards earn XP points, which make them stronger in the game and let you compete in higher divisions to earn better rewards.

Sorare is the official partner of Opta, the leading football data provider, for tracking individual players' real-life performances. It covers individual player performances from 31 football leagues.

Sorare is a fantasy football game. For tournaments to take place, there need to be football matches scheduled in real life.

Two tournaments take place per week.

➡️ 2. A section with the Game Weeks will open. Click "view all tournaments".

➡️ 3. On this page you can check all the results (click "View results" or "View live results" for the current Game Week), or click "Compete" to compete with other managers.

What Do the Different Leagues and Divisions Mean in Sorare?

There are Global and Regional League structures for football fans all over the world. Each league has four divisions (D4, D3, D2, D1) with different card eligibility requirements. Here's what you'll need to be in each division:

Ways to navigate between leagues and divisions:

➡️ 1. Click "Play" from the home page

➡️ 2. On the game page you'll have access to all open leagues. You can sort leagues using the filters on the left (view all, Starter League Rookie, Global All Star, etc). Use the central tab to access the upcoming matches for the Game Week.

➡️ 3. For example, when you click on Global All Star, you can see all the divisions of that league. Depending on the cards you own, you'll be able to enter one division or another (check the table at the top of the page for the criteria).

What Are the Different Leagues and Divisions in Sorare?

To explain our leagues and divisions in more detail, there are 3 main league structures where you can compete for great rewards every week.

Global Structure / The Global:

NOTE: Each league contains 4 divisions (Div 1, Div 2, Div 3 and Div 4)

- All Star League: Our All-Star League includes 4 Divisions where you can play with players from any league combination.

- Under 23 League: Our Under 23 League includes 4 Divisions where you can only use players who were 23 years old or younger as of July 1 of the previous year.

- Rookie League: Our Free-to-Play Rookie League, where new Managers can play for 8 Game Weeks with common cards and at most two rare cards.

Regional Structures / The Regional:

- European Champions League: Our European Champions League includes 4 Divisions. Entry is limited to players representing teams from Europe's top 5 football leagues: Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

- American Champions League: Our American Champions League includes 4 Divisions. Entry is limited to players representing teams from the American leagues we cover: MLS, Argentine Superliga, Liga MX, Colombian Primera A and Brasileiro Serie A.

- Asian Champions League: Our Asian Champions League includes 4 Divisions. Entry is limited to players representing teams from the Asian leagues we cover: J.League, K League and Chinese Super League.

- European Challenger League: Our European Challenger League includes 4 Divisions. Entry is limited to players representing teams from the clubs we cover outside the top 5 European leagues: Portuguese Liga, Russian Premier League, Eredivisie, Belgian Pro League, Scottish Premiership, Turkish Süper Lig and the Championship.

Special Structures / The Special:

- Training League: A Training League where you can play with any combination of cards (Unique, Super Rare, Rare and Common) to earn XP.

- Special Events: Can be played in Weekly Challenges with any combination of cards (Unique, Super Rare and Rare) - must meet the eligibility criteria for the competition.

Reminder:

- The 4 Divisions in each League structure have entry criteria based on card eligibility. This helps ensure managers with similar strengths compete closely together. Good luck!

- You must own all the players you selected by the Game Week deadline. After the deadline has passed, you can sell the players you selected, as their points will still count.

When Do Leagues Open in Sorare?

Five important tournament rules you need to know so you can plan ahead for the busy football calendar:

• A Region opens if at least 1 club from that region is playing,
• All Star opens when two Regional competitions are open,
• If only one region is open - All Star is closed,
• U23 and Global Unique are open when All Star is open,

➡️ 2. On the game page, click the league you want to compete in:

How Can I Join Sorare With a Referral Code?
