How Do You Enter a Match and Choose a Captain in Sorare?

The first time you log in to Sorare, after getting through the onboarding steps, you'll start out with a pack made up of low-value cards.

To use your cards and build your first team, you need to enter a league and submit your team. To do this, follow these steps:

➡️ 1. Click "PLAY" from the home page

➡️ 2. On the game page you'll have access to all open leagues. You can access leagues based on your cards, and you can learn more here. When you first join, you'll have access to the Rookie League. Click on the Rookie League

➡️ 3. On the Rookie League page, click the "Enter" button

➡️ 4. Add your players to the matching positions one after another.

Note: The position in the gold bracket is the position you need to fill with the players on the left. You can add players with a midfielder card to the midfield slot. This varies for each slot. You can add a card from the Defense, Midfield, or Forward options to the Extra slot.

➡️ 5. If you have a rare card, you can add a captain to your team. If not, click the "Continue Without A Captain" option.

➡️ 6. Once your team is complete, click "Confirm" to submit your team for the Game Week.

What Does the Auction Have to Do With the Referral Code?

If you joined the game with a referral code and bought 5 players from the auction, the game gives you +1 player as a gift.

How Can I Join Sorare With a Referral Code?

If you're going to join the game, I recommend joining with a referral code. If you join with a referral code, buying 5 cards from the auctions the game is constantly launching (New Card Auctions) gets you +1 Gift player.
