When VALORANT Episode 4 Act 2 launched at the beginning of March, the game's fans turned the game upside down. Patch 4.04 includes a wide variety of changes to the meta that players have to adapt to. Some of the biggest changes in the game were the long-awaited Yoru rework, the nerfs to Viper and Astra, the buffs to Brimstone and Omen, and the changes to the Icebox map. Although most agents stayed in place, the tier list has changed in various places since February. So how does the VALORANT Agents Tier List for March 2022 look? Let's take a look together.
VALORANT Agents Tier List March 2022
S Tier
- Jett
- Sage
- Sova
- Yoru
Jett, Sage and Sova continue to hold their top levels.
To begin the list, the Jett, Sage and Sova crew can be happy, as these agents keep their top spots in the meta. Yoru, the newest member of S Tier, is finally with us as of Patch 4.04. The biggest change to Yoru is Fakeout. After you shoot Yoru's clone, the clone will face the direction of the enemy and flash them, a move that makes it incredibly strong and useful.
A Tier
- Viper
- Chamber
- Reyna
- Killjoy
- Omen
- Cypher
- Raze
The most notable thing on this list is Viper dropping out of S Tier. Viper used to play both Controller and Sentinel roles, but now she has to choose only one. Omen got a lot of love in this patch with buffs to Dark Cover, Shrouded Step and Paranoia. These buffs turned Omen from a terrible agent into one of the best in the game. They made Omen increasingly popular in both competitive and professional play.
B Tier
- Astra
- Neon
- Breach
- Skye
- KAY/O
Although Astra is still said to be a top-tier agent, the latest patch showed us Astra's decline. Astra's Stars, her signature, dropped from five stars to four, and the cooldown of her ability also increased. With the cooldowns of Gravity Well, Nova Pulse and Nebula also increased, Astra seems to be having her worst times.
C Tier
- Phoenix
- Brimstone
Last on the list is Brimstone; however, there is a caveat to being last on the list. Brimstone got buffs to Sky Smoke and, more importantly, Stim Beacon. According to the patch notes, Stim Beacon now offers players a 15% speed boost in addition to Incendiary. This has led some players to predict a new meta of throwing enemies down by using this buff, which has risen to the top. However, it is not yet clear whether this will combine with the Astra and Viper nerfs to create a new meta.
