As you know, VALORANT is one of the hugely popular FPS games. There are many different agents in the game. Chamber, a new agent, was added most recently, and now another new agent codenamed Sprinter is expected to be added. While waiting for Sprinter in VALORANT, we put together a list of the best beginner agents, especially for players who are just starting the game. We hope this list helps you! (Not all the agents we list are unlocked at the start of the game, but they are all extremely simple to use.)
Best VALORANT Beginner Agents 2022
KAY/O
Although KAY/O is not one of the starting agents in the game, he is a very simple agent to use. Equipped with fairly simple tools, he throws a highly disruptive knife at opponents with his (E) ability, and when the knife hits, agents in the resulting area cannot use their abilities. With his (Q) ability, he throws a short-range flashbang at opponents. With his (C) ability, he throws another knife with explosive properties, similar to the knife he throws. Finally, with his (X) ability, KAY/O powers up and can be revived by his teammates when he dies.
Reyna
Reyna is a perfect agent for new players who tend to make mistakes in the game. With her Leer (C) ability, she sends a purple eye toward where she is looking. Opponents cannot do anything because of this eye, as it is a weakening ability. With her Devour (Q) ability, after Reyna kills an opponent, she consumes a soul orb with which she can restore her health. With her Dismiss (E) ability, she becomes invisible for a short time and gives her opponents fearful moments. Finally, her Empress (X) ability lets her fire quickly. This ability also activates her Devour and Dismiss abilities.
Omen
Omen is one of the simplest agents for players just starting VALORANT. Omen performs well on almost every map and is the easiest of all the agents to use. His (C) Shrouded Step ability gives him a shadow-walk, and Omen can quickly move around the maps however he wants. Because of this ability, he can fire at an area he marks and teleport there. His (Q) Paranoia ability lets him make a shadow shot he can throw forward, which greatly limits other agents' vision. His (E) Dark Cover ability lets him throw a shadow orb forward, which causes serious trouble for his opponents. His (X) From the Shadows ability lets him teleport to a section he selects on a map, and he can turn into a shadow and defeat his opponents.
Sage
Sage is one of the agents in VALORANT who can benefit the team and is also easy to use thanks to her abilities. With her (C) Barrier Orb ability, she equips a barrier orb and builds a wall against her opponents. With her (Q) Slow Orb ability, she throws an orb that slows her opponents. With her (E) Healing Orb ability, she can heal her teammates. Finally, with her (X) Resurrection ability, she can bring a teammate back to life.
Jett
Jett is one of the most important starting agents in the game. With her Cloudburst (C) ability, she sends a cloud of smoke at her opponents to restrict their vision. This cloud greatly limits opponents' vision. With her Updraft (Q) ability, Jett can leap into the air. With her Tailwind (E) ability, she dashes in the direction she is moving. Finally, with her Blade Storm ability, she can use 5 storm blades to defeat her opponents.
Phoenix
Last on the list is Phoenix. With his Blaze (C) ability, the character can raise a wall of flame that deals serious damage to opponents. With his Curveball (Q) ability, he throws a fireball that explodes after a while and damages those around it. With his Hot Hands (E) ability, he sends a fireball that burns the spot where it lands. Finally, with his Run it Back ability, he can leave a marker at the place where he used the ability.
