VALORANT Bind Map Update: Changes and Return Date

Riot Games has announced the return of Bind to VALORANT. Bind was removed from the game's active map pool with the release of Lotus, and it is finally coming back to the game! As it did with Split, Riot Games has changed many aspects of the map. These changes look set to have a significant effect on gameplay, with the potential to create a new meta. What is the VALORANT Bind map update and what are its changes? Let's take a closer look at all the updates.

VALORANT Bind Map Update and Changes (2023)

The first thing that changes on Bind is the Teleporter exit outside A Showers. The exit, which used to be closer to the opponents' spot, is now near the entrance to A Showers. The Teleporter exit's previous location has a raised platform with a shop that has a half-closed shutter. Both the entrance and the inside of A Showers have been made wider than before, and the exit from A Showers to A Site has also been widened. As you continue toward the A area, the Radianite boxes are rearranged, with some subtle changes toward the back. The wall next to the tower now has a cylindrical object players can stand on, while the back wall of A Site has been flattened.

The door connecting the site to B Hall has also been widened. Because there is now a hole to throw projectiles through, such as Sova's Shock Darts or Raze's Grenades, controlling B Elbow will now be harder. No changes have been announced yet for the other parts of B Site, such as Hookah, B Long and B Garden.

When Is Bind Coming Back to VALORANT? (2023)

The VALORANT Bind map will return to the game on April 25, 2023, with the release of Episode 6 Act III. The upcoming Patch 6.08 will bring Bind back to the game's active map pool.
