How Will FIFA 24 Pro Clubs Mode Work?

How Will FIFA 24 Pro Clubs Mode Work?

Pro Clubs is one of the most beloved modes in the FIFA series. As the mode that's most fun to play with more than two friends, there's been a lot of talk about whether Pro Clubs will be in FC24 under its new name after EA ended its deal with FIFA, and if so, how it will work.

Pro Clubs in FIFA 24 isn't confirmed yet, but we can make some predictions about how it will work based on previous games.

Will FIFA 24 Have a Pro Clubs Mode?

EA, which holds the license for modes like Ultimate Team and Career Mode, also owns Pro Clubs, so if there's one thing that's 100% certain, it's that Pro Clubs will be featured in next year's FIFA 24.

How Will Pro Clubs Work in FIFA 24?

Pro Clubs is a mode where each user controls one player (this can vary in some cases), or if you prefer, all 11 players can be managed by a single user. It's a highly competitive mode where the stats you rack up in matches with your created player determine how your player develops, reaches higher ratings, and gets stronger, raising the level of competition. Just like the players you create, you can also create a team and fill your squad with users, giving you the chance to play matches with more human players.

In this mode, not every player needs to control just one character; the player chosen as captain can also control the players who haven't been picked. This means the CPU doesn't have to manage the leftover players, letting you play with a more balanced squad.

FIFA 24 Pro Clubs Team Building

If you're not already on a team, or have never opened Pro Clubs, there are three different ways to play. One of them is turning on the mode, setting up your player, and then jumping into a quick match from the My Pro tab. When you choose this option, you enter a pool of players who, like you, want to play a quick match at that moment, join a team of your choosing, and the match starts once players have picked their squad. The biggest downside of this model, where everyone joins solo, is that since you don't know the people you're playing with, you might end up with players who go overboard showboating or never pass, and that can be frustrating.

Playing on the Same Team With Your Friends in FIFA 24

That's why my advice for anyone planning to play Pro Clubs is to form a team with your friend group.

After you or someone in your friend group creates a team, you can invite your friends through the transfers section. Once your friend accepts the transfer offer, they join your team. This way, you can shape your squad by adding the people you want to see on it.

What Are the Expectations for FIFA 24 Pro Clubs?

1. A fix is expected for the way skill points haven't scaled realistically in past years, feeling unnatural.
2. Player creation reached a good point this year, and FIFA 24 should bring even newer character features.
3. Grinding to max level used to take way too much time, and progression was very inconsistent. This needs a different approach.

What New Features Are Coming to FIFA 24 Pro Clubs?
