VALORANT Champions 2024: Schedule and Teams
VALORANT Champions 2024 ran from February 16 through the International Stage 2 finals, with Kickoff qualifiers feeding into Masters Madrid and Masters Shanghai.
- VCT 2024's first part ran from February 16 to March 24, with regional Kickoff tournaments across Americas, Pacific, EMEA, and China.
- The top two teams from each Kickoff event advanced to Masters Madrid, held March 14–24.
- Championship Points came from international league wins, league titles, and VCT Kickoff and Masters wins, deciding each region's Champions 2024 slots.
You'll remember that Evil Geniuses were the VALORANT Champions 2023 champions. After a five-month wait, VALORANT Champions 2024 is back among us! VCT 2024's start date was announced along with an official announcement released a while ago. New features and competitions that will shape this year's Valorant esports cycle were also part of the announcements. Let's take a look together at when VALORANT Champions 2024 is happening!
When Is VALORANT Champions 2024?
According to the announcement, the season's first part will be played between February 16 and March 24, with teams competing in their own Kickoff tournaments. The top two rosters from each Kickoff event will qualify for Masters Madrid. The regional schedule has also been set. Accordingly;
- VCT Americas: February 16 – March 2
- VCT Pacific: February 17 – March 2
- VCT EMEA: February 20 – March 2
- VCT China: February 22 – March 2
will compete during these dates.
The top two teams from each competition will compete at Masters Madrid. Masters Madrid will take place between March 14–24.
The second part of the season will then begin in April, with the world's best teams placed into what's called International Stage 1. The top three teams from each part will qualify for Masters Shanghai.
The final part will begin after Masters Shanghai wraps up, with the start of International Stage 2. The top three teams from each International Stage 2 division will qualify for VALORANT Champions 2024, and each region's top Championship Points holder will be determined.
How Are Championship Points Earned?
For teams to earn championship points, the following system will be in effect:
- One point for every match won in international league matches.
- Three points for each league's winner.
- Three points for each VCT Kickoff and Masters winner.
