What Is Clash of Clans?

Clash of Clans is a strategy game played by millions of people that has always stayed current. To sum up the goal of the game: it's built around upgrading the buildings in your village using the loot you earn from your production buildings and from raiding other villages. Buildings are split into two types: producers and defenses. Besides your buildings, you also have a Town Hall located in the center of your village, which has no function of its own but is the building you need to protect above all in clan wars. Enemies who destroy your Town Hall during a war take a star from you, which is why protecting this building is your top priority for winning clan wars.

How Can You Increase Your Town Hall Level in Clash of Clans?

To increase your Town Hall level, you need to gather the gold required for each level. But before upgrading your Town Hall, make sure you've upgraded all your other buildings (both producers and defenses) to the highest level possible. This way, you'll be strengthening your village in a balanced way.

How Do You Produce Resources in Clash of Clans?

There are three types of raw resources in Clash of Clans. These are:

• • Gold: Used to upgrade the game's defensive buildings, walls, Town Hall, Clan Castle, Elixir Storage, and Elixir Collectors.
  • Elixir: Used to upgrade the Gold Mine, Gold Storage, Dark Elixir Drill, Dark Elixir Storage, Spell Factory, Dark Spell Factory, Army Camp, Barracks, and Dark Barracks. This elixir is also used to produce the 14 different troops and 7 different spells you'll need for farming and clan wars, along with one of your village's three heroes, the "Grand Warden."

• • Dark Elixir: Dark Elixir is the most valuable raw resource in the game. Its hourly production is much lower compared to other resources. You should try to farm plenty of Dark Elixir during farming raids. There's no building that's upgraded with elixir alone in this context. Two of your village's three heroes, the Barbarian King and Archer Queen, are upgraded with Dark Elixir. The 9 different troops found in the Dark Barracks and the 5 spells found in the Dark Spell Factory are produced with Dark Elixir.

You can produce resources by building Gold Mines, Elixir Collectors, and Dark Elixir Drills in your village. Upgrading these buildings will directly contribute to your hourly production.

How Do You Get Loot in Clash of Clans?

You can earn loot by attacking the villages of other Clash of Clans players. When looking for a village to attack, the game will offer you opponents based on the number of trophies you've collected from previous battles and the league you're currently in. Try to attack players whose resource storages are full, who are weaker than you, and whose village you think you can destroy. Otherwise, you won't be able to collect loot and you'll lose troops. Losing troops will also lead to a loss of loot, since you'll have to produce new troops.

What Are the Administrative Buildings in Clash of Clans For?

• Town Hall: It's a bit like the "king" in a game of chess. Its contribution to your village is nothing more than a small storage space. However, in farming and clan wars, having this building destroyed will cost you a star. You need to protect your Town Hall very well.
• Clan Castle: Support troops and spells you've requested from your clan are stored in this building. Also, unlike your own army, the troops in the Clan Castle defend during farming raids.
• Gold Mine: Produces gold on an hourly basis. Upgrading the building's level increases hourly production.

• Dark Elixir Storage: This is where the Dark Elixir you produce is stored. Always protecting this building well will mean fewer players attack you and you suffer fewer losses during farming raids. Since Dark Elixir is used to produce and upgrade the rarest troops and buildings in the game, defending it is just as important as defending your Town Hall. If possible, position your Dark Elixir Storage near your Town Hall.

• Barracks: This is the building where troops produced with elixir are trained. As the building's level increases, it lets you produce different troops.
• Dark Barracks: This is the building where troops produced with Dark Elixir are trained. As the building's level increases, it lets you produce different troops.
• Army Camp: You can't produce unlimited troops in Clash of Clans. The troops you produce are housed in the army camp. As the level of your army camps increases, your total housing space increases. Each troop has a housing space cost. You should keep this in mind when building your ideal army.
• Laboratory: This is the building where troop levels are upgraded. As the Laboratory's level increases, your troop levels can be upgraded further in the Laboratory.
• Spell Factory: This is the building where spells that can be used in farming and clan wars, and produced with elixir, are made.

• Builder's Hut: Required to construct the buildings in the game. As your Town Hall's level increases, you can own more Builder's Huts. This gives you the ability to build multiple buildings at the same time.
