Call of Duty: Warzone and Cold War 1.34 Update Patch Notes

The Call of Duty world is getting shaken up a bit today, as Warzone and Black Ops - Cold War receive major updates. This will be an especially important week for CoD fans. You already had to download a CoD update on March 29, and if you remember, the size of that update was a hot topic among players. But now, another update is already lined up for us to download!

Call of Duty 1.34 Update Release Date and Time

According to Raven Software's official Twitter account, this week's major Call of Duty: Warzone update, 1.34, went live on all servers on April 1 at 23:00 PST. If you haven't downloaded the update yet, you may need to do so the next time you try to launch the game on your device. As for Black Ops - Cold War, it will normally go live on servers on Thursday, April 1 at 18:00.

The Season Two Reloaded update will have a download size of roughly 52.0 - 57.8 GB with the latest updates for either game (or both).

How Can I Speed Up a Slow Download for Call of Duty 1.34?

If you're a CoD fan like us, you know these updates can sometimes be huge files that take forever to download. If slow speeds are holding you back, try moving closer to your Wi-Fi router and, if possible, connecting to the internet with an ethernet cable. CoD Warzone 1.34 Update Patch Notes

General

• Fixed Dev Error 6634 for Xbox.
• Fixed subtitles for Sims, Beck and Garcia.

Gameplay

• Armor will now consistently spawn as ground loot in all matches.

Tac Map Updated:

• You can now double-tap to place a Danger Ping. Hovering over certain pingable objects will now show you the object's name, making it easier to see what you're pointing at.
• It will now be a bit easier to ping exactly what you want when items are very close together.
• The "Clear Pings" text was changed to "Remove My Pings."
• Fixed an out-of-map exploit near Chemical Engineering on Rebirth Island.
• In Plunder, Self-Revive can now be dropped via the Quick Inventory menu.
• With Mouse/Keyboard or any Tap-to-Ping control scheme, briefly holding down the Ping button lets you clear all your placed pings at once.

Weapons

• Increased base recoil magnitude on the Cold War AUG.
• Cold War weapon attachments will now display correctly in the After Action Report.

Additional Updates

• Suppressor barrels now correctly show that they hide muzzle flash.
• The Cavalry Lancer barrel now increases damage dealt to vehicles.
• Fixed sight/variable zoom scopes so they can now properly mount to vertical walls.
• Fixed some ADS trigger animation issues.
• Fixed a bug where some Cold War barrels did not have their intended effects.

Operators

• Baker's fourth Operator Mission objective targets eliminating 15 enemies while using a weapon fitted with a 2x or higher magnification scope.

CoD Black Ops - Cold War Update Patch Notes

General

• Up to three Calling Cards displayed on your showcase will now appear in the Barracks Player ID menu.
• Players can now use the "Set as Favorite" option in Create-a-Class to set a target class for the Quick Equip feature. Weapons equipped with Quick Equip will automatically appear in that class.
• Players can now inspect other players' Operator models while in the Lobby.

Operator: Wolf

• The Wolf Operator Pack is now available in the Store.

UI

• Fixed an issue that caused a pop-up message reading "Leaving your team with three or fewer players will result in a loss and a ladder point penalty" to appear when trying to join a friend.

Multiplayer

• Fixed an issue where attackers/defenders could spawn on the same side in CDL Custom Games.
• The Daily Challenge now tracks progress for destroying enemy Field Upgrades through interacting with them, not just by shooting them.
• Fixed a rare crash related to players joining an in-progress match in Search and Destroy.
• Fixed a rare crash related to radiation clouds in Fireteam.
• Fixed an issue where CODCaster could be selected in non-team-based modes.

Zombies

• The Pause Custom Match Server feature was moved to an option in the Pause menu, to prevent a match's host from accidentally pausing the match while trying to apply a Blueprint from the Pause menu.
• Fixed crashes related to the Krasny Soldat and zombie pathfinding.
• Fixed an issue where a player's vehicle would take no damage when hitting Special or Elite enemies.
• Fixed an issue that caused jetpack flames to appear on an HVT when the jetpack wasn't in use.
