Dying Light 2: How to Unlock the Pan of Destiny

Very similar to the first game, Dying Light 2 is full of surprises. There's a pretty strange, well-hidden weapon tucked away in the game. It looks like a basic weapon at first, but once unlocked it turns into a legendary weapon. Let's take a look at how to get Pan of Destiny, one of Dying Light 2's strangest hidden weapons.

How Do You Get the Pan of Destiny in Dying Light 2?

The Rooster Sent to Space

While playing Dying Light 2, you may have noticed some posters plastered around the city for "Space Cock," a TV show about a rooster sent into space. It turns out there's a rooster traveling through space, even though it's not actually from the TV show. You can only find the rooster, located in Renegade's stronghold, the only building in the Newfound Lost Lands region, after completing Dying Light 2's main story. After finishing the main quest, head back to Renegade's stronghold. Go back to the room with wooden barricades outside and a large tank inside. From there, look for a staircase that eventually leads to a door into the building. Follow this path and you'll find a room with a rooster locked in a cage. The rooster will start talking to you, and if you decide to talk to it, you'll get a quest to help the animal rebuild its spaceship.

A Futuristic Reward

The side quest, also called "Space Rooster," simply has you head out into the world and find the spaceship part. Still, it can be made harder depending on one of the choices you make at the end of the game. Leaving a large portion of the map underwater means you'll need to swim to where that part is located. Once you reach the part, all you need to do is bring it back to the rooster. After you give the chicken the spaceship part back, it teleports away, apparently something it can do at any time. But don't leave right after finishing the quest, because the chicken will also teleport a crafting brochure for the Pan of Destiny onto the table next to its old cage. Since it requires a hefty 369 scrap, you won't be able to craft the pan right away. The fastest way to collect all that scrap is to buy as much as you can from the Craftmasters and loot everything you can from the Dark Zones in Villedor. If you're after another easter egg that can help you get around the city faster, try tracking down the game's flying skateboard.
