Who Are the Turkish Wonderkids with the Most Potential in FM 23?

Emre Bilgin - Beşiktaş

In FM 23, Emre Bilgin's development looks like it can reach a ceiling of up to 80 given good training and a regular chance to play. He's only 18, and with a 14 rating for one-on-one saves, it's very natural for Emre Bilgin to whet your appetite when you think about the goals you concede in FM 23.

Semih Kara - VfB Stuttgart

Although he starts the game with a very low average, the chance he can climb as high as 62 down the line might make it worth giving him a shot. At the very least, signing him and watching his development to decide from there could be the right call. Given that he's a left-back and there aren't many players coming through in that position, you can add Semih Kara to your transfer list and bring him in for a very modest fee.

Kerem Kalafat - Çaykur Rizespor

Even though Kerem is 21, many of his attributes are already developed, and his passing and dribbling in particular aren't bad at all for his age — he's the kind of right-back who can also be valued for his work rate.

Gürkan Başkan - Famalicão

Gürkan Başkan starts the game at Famalicão and his ability ceiling can stretch up to 80. I'd strongly recommend signing him right at the start of the game and, if you're playing with a lower-division team, easing him in gradually; if not, giving him regular playing time in a settled team. He's 1.90 m tall with 11 passing. Especially once you develop his mental attributes, it's not far-fetched at all that he could become your go-to centre-back in the future!

Taha Altıkardeş - Trabzonspor

There will certainly be people who know Taha from Trabzonspor, but if you don't, definitely keep him in mind. He's only 18, and a lot of his attributes already look pretty good. He starts out with 14 natural fitness and 12 stamina. If you sign him, he's the kind of potential you could sell for big money down the line!

Bartuğ Elmaz - Marseille

After leaving Galatasaray amid controversy and not finding much playing time at Marseille either, Bartuğ still stands quite well in the eyes of FM 23's editors. Even though he starts the game well behind physically, his technical ability has already started to show at 19. If you develop him specifically in a defensive midfielder playmaker role, the idea of him becoming a mature homegrown Pirlo down the line doesn't sound bad at all.

Efe Kaan Sihlaroğlu - Karlsruher SC

If Efe Kaan shows up in your FM 23 career, I'd recommend signing him and giving him a try. He's one of the wonderkids with real upside.

Burak İnce - Arminia Bielefeld

You're not misreading this — Burak İnce's technique is 16 and his free-kick rating is 15. This talented left-footed midfielder is only 18, and I'd strongly recommend signing him without wasting any time and investing in his development.

Samed Onur - Fatih Karagümrük

Samed Onur's ceiling isn't sky-high, but we're looking at a moderate level of development. He's the kind of midfielder you can sign and try out without needing to make a huge investment, since he can be used in almost every position except defense. And he's left-footed too!

Emre Gökay - Sivasspor

One of Sivasspor's young talents, Emre Gökay shows huge potential especially in an inverted right winger role. Emre is also left-footed, and with proper training and regular playing time, his current stats can shoot up quickly.

Semih Kılıçsoy - Beşiktaş

Running around in Beşiktaş's youth ranks, Semih Kılıçsoy is only 17 and is already making a name for himself with his goals. At 1.78 m tall with decent technical ability, you can sign this young striker and follow his development closely.

Arda Güler - Fenerbahçe

When talking about the most promising players, we couldn't leave out Arda Güler :) Barring an injury or other setback, this pure talent is a candidate to become Türkiye's most valuable player and land playing time at huge European clubs in the future, and the progress he makes in FM 23 is worth seeing. If your budget allows it and you want to play with Arda Güler too, I'd say don't think twice!
