When building the 4-4-1-1, we need to create a setup where our full-backs and wide players are also thought of as attacking outlets. With a tall target striker up front and a runner breaking into the channels behind him, being effective in front of goal has never been easier. This is the kind of tactic strong teams can use as their general template and rely on for consistency. If you're managing a strong team, you can use this tactic regularly and get results comfortably.
Using average width on the wings gives better results with this kind of tactic. By keeping the tempo high and passing very short, you'll build a team that doesn't give the ball away and gets quick results.
