What time does Fortnite Treasure Hunters start?

Epic confirms November 1 as launch day, and the first Captain's Day kicks off with the season at 9 a.m. ET. There is no official blog post with a downtime schedule. Polygon, citing Epic's status page, expects maintenance to last around three hours, with the mini season going live at roughly 4 a.m. EST, or 9 a.m. GMT. Downtime can always run long, so treat that as an estimate rather than a promise.

Chapter 7 Season 4 wraps up the same day. If you are still chasing Battle Pass skins, now is the time to squeeze in the last few levels before the servers go down.

What's on Crossbones Isle?

Crossbones Isle is a new 80-player island. You can climb into a cannon to launch yourself across the map, and One Piece fans can visit Arlong Park and Windmill Village. You can also fight as Luffy with the Gum-Gum Fruit or carve through opponents with Zoro's Three Sword Style.

Each week a new captain lands in Battle Royale with their own crew and POI. The Straw Hats and A$AP Rocky lead the way, followed by Lil Uzi Vert, Cap'n Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto. A$AP Rocky's battleship POI, the $.$. Rocky, arrives with his Shock Rocket, which lets you rain rockets from above. Hidden treasures are scattered across the island too, including whatever is locked inside Captain X's mega chest.

Battle Pass and weekly events

Alongside Ace and Robin, the Battle Pass includes new anime looks for Jonesy, Cuddle Team Leader and Charlotte. Gift the pass to a friend and you both get a bonus Dark Kawaii Team Leader style.

Captain's Days drop new weapons, Sprites and more onto the map, starting on November 1 and returning on November 7, 12, 14 and 21. Mastery Mondays and Treasure Hours Sundays run all season, adding captain weapons to the start of every match and boosting drops. Epic says details on One Piece cups will appear on Fortnite.com/competitive.
