GPTZero AI Detector: Free, Turkish Support, How to Use

ChatGPT is a platform almost all of us rely on for support, both in daily life and at work. Thanks to ChatGPT, most users can now produce more specialized and detailed work. But just like with any platform, overusing ChatGPT is turning us robotic, and effectively means we're getting AI to do the bulk of our work for us, no matter what it is. Getting support is necessary, of course. But when we let AI do our work entirely, we need to remember that various checking mechanisms will come into play. One of these is GPTZero, an AI detection tool developed by Princeton University student Edward Tian. Let's take a closer look at what GPTZero is, whether it detects Turkish, and how to use it.

What Is GPTZero? Is It Free?

GPTZero is a web application or service designed to detect whether a body of text was written by a human or by AI. The system currently detects outputs from various large language models, including ChatGPT, GPT-4 and Claude, as well as text written by a human in collaboration with AI. So, in short, let's just say watch out! :).

GPTZero is an app designed for educators, but anyone can use it for free. With a free account, you'll be able to scan 40 documents an hour and access the GPTZero dashboard. The Essential plan, at $10 a month, scans up to 150,000 words a month and provides access to "premium" AI detection models, along with "plagiarism scanning" and "Advanced Grammar and Writing" feedback. The Premium package, at $16 a month, raises the word count to 300,000 a month and adds "Advanced AI Deep Scan" and multilingual AI detection on top of the Pro-tier benefits.

Does GPTZero Detect Turkish?

Since the app is currently in English and supports English, issues can arise when it comes to writing Turkish characters. However, GPTZero can still detect how much of a text written in Turkish was written by AI versus a human.

How Do You Use It?

GPTZero is available on its website. All you need to do is copy the text you want to check and paste it into the large box labeled Try it out. You can also upload a PDF, Word document or text file and click the Get Results button. You'll also need to check the box confirming you accept the terms of service.

• The first thing you need to do is go to https://app.gptzero.me/app and create an account, or sign in with an email account.
• After signing in, you'll need to click "New" and then "New Scan" among the tools on the left side.

• After clicking, if you want to type in the text and check it right away, you can select the "Text Scan" option.

• However, if you want to scan a PDF or another document, you'll need to select "Batch Upload."
• After typing in your text, click "Run Scan" and you'll be ready to see the results!

• You've now completed a scan with GPTZero!
