How Do You Withdraw Money From Sorare? What Are the Ways?

Sorare is a game played over the ETH network, one where players value things in ETH. Even if you see Dollars, Euros, or Pounds against the ETH price (whichever currency you're playing with or plan to play with), those are just the instant conversion value in Ethereum's terms. To correctly interpret the game and make informed calculations, you need to think and apply everything in ETH.

That's why, even though we can put money into the game via credit card or MetaMask, we need to connect our MetaMask wallet to our Sorare account to withdraw it. After that, all you need to do is enter the code of the wallet you want to withdraw to and hit send.

The blue box in the top-right corner is your in-game wallet. When you click on it, you'll see two options: deposit or withdrawal destination. Once you choose withdrawal destination, assuming you've connected your MetaMask wallet to Sorare, you'll be able to see your Sorare balance both in whichever currency you're playing with (here, Euro) and in ETH. After entering the amount you want to withdraw, in either ETH or Euro, all you need to do in the Recipient field is paste the account details of whichever wallet you want the funds sent to. It will then ask for your in-game password, and after entering that, your withdrawal request will be created. Timing can vary depending on network speed and traffic, but you won't run into any real problems. If something does go wrong, don't worry, the money simply goes back to your Sorare account.

Which Account Should I Withdraw To?

I'd recommend pasting your own MetaMask wallet's ETH account number (the string of mixed letters and numbers starting with something like 0x34) into the Recipient field. I don't think there'd be an issue sending it elsewhere, but I've never tried it myself. That's why it's safer to send the money to your own MetaMask ETH network first, and then forward it from your MetaMask to wherever you actually want it to go.

Under What Circumstances Should I Withdraw From Sorare?

Since players regularly get new season NFT cards at auction for prices lower than you'd expect, on Sorare, try to always keep some money in the game and keep your options open for making a move. Even though it can be a great source of income, this is still just a game, and I wouldn't recommend trying to manage your finances around it. Football is a variable game, and success can shift from week to week. You should take a long-term view and make your moves accordingly.

Since you pay a certain commission (gas fee) both when depositing and withdrawing on Sorare, constantly putting money in and taking it out won't work in your favor. To avoid paying commission over and over, think twice, or even three times, before depositing or withdrawing.

How Can I Join Sorare With a Referral Code?

If you're going to join the game, I'd recommend joining with a referral code. If you join with a referral code, buying 5 cards from the game's ongoing auctions (New Card Auctions) gets you +1 free player.

By clicking this link, you can join the game with a referral code and earn +1 free card when you buy your first 5 Auction cards.

There's a time limit the game gives you for this (ranging from 100 to 180 days), within which you need to buy 5 players (any card type) at auction for it to count. The time the game gives you is reasonable and generous enough to complete this.

What Are the Benefits of Joining Sorare With a Referral Code?

If you join without a referral code, you won't get the benefit of the free card. There's no downside to joining with a referral code, in fact, quite the opposite, since you get an extra player for free :)
