PUBG New Map 2022: Deston Release Date

No official release date has been set for the map yet, but based on the teasers that have been published, we can say the map could arrive with the 18.2 patch. Players are eagerly awaiting July and August, so we can expect the map to release soon. Some sources had pointed to late 2021 or early 2022, but since work on it has been quite intense, we're only now starting to see details about the map.

PUBG New Map 2022: What Will Deston's Features Be?

The map was previously known as "Kiki," but its name was changed. A blog post revealing the map gave details about which locations would be featured, including the line: "Kiki will feature a wide variety of locations, from mysterious underground labs to massive skyscrapers, swamps, subways, and underwater buildings." The rest of the post reiterated that the map would include many different locations to excite and challenge survivors on PUBG's most diverse and exploration-focused Battleground yet. The new map will also be the biggest map PUBG has ever had, and we can potentially expect to see it as the game's first 9x9 or 10x10 map. During the initial announcements, the map was named Kiki, but after the latest teaser published on June 21, its name was officially changed to Deston.
