Sorare ETH Reward Thresholds Updated
Sorare now guarantees at least $25 for its 205-point reward threshold and $50 for its 250-point threshold, regardless of ETH's dollar value, starting from Game Week 272.

In addition to the rewards earned on Sorare, since those rewards are paid in ETH and the crypto world is going through tough times, the value of rewards earned on Sorare has also started to drop. ETH Thresholds Update At our Community Event, we announced our plans to peg ETH thresholds to a dollar value in August.
To reduce recent Ethereum volatility and improve our community's SO5 experience, we're accelerating our plans to peg ETH thresholds with a temporary bonus!
Starting from Game Week 272, Managers who reach the ETH thresholds will receive the following: When 0.01 ETH is worth less than $25
- The 205-point threshold will offer $25 worth of ETH
However, if 0.01 ETH is worth $25 or more, we will not peg the ETH value back down to $25.
When 0.01 ETH = more than $25 USD
- The 205-point threshold will offer 0.01 ETH - The 250-point threshold will offer 0.02 ETH
What Does This Mean?
Locking ETH rewards to a dollar amount lets us keep growing in a healthy and sustainable way. When the European football season returns in August, we'll implement our initial plan to peg rewards to $25 and $50 for those reaching 205 and 250 points.
We want to build a sustainable and healthy product and ecosystem on Sorare for the long term. This is something we will always take very seriously.

To help you plan ahead and build your strategies, you'll be able to visit our new Game Week calendars. These calendars will share the Special Weekly rules and the number and quality of card rewards in each division of each league over the next 4 Game Weeks.

Card Allocations
Our goal for 2022 is to set aside up to 40% of our card supply for rewards.
There are many factors that can affect the card allocations of specific players, such as scarcity, marketplace activity, referrals, side games, changes in player tiers, licensing deals, and more.
We believe this number accurately reflects the balance we're looking for between keeping the ecosystem healthy and stable and delivering an exciting competitive challenge alongside an enjoyable everyday experience throughout the season.
Pegging ETH to USD
Our long-term vision is to bring Sorare to millions of fans worldwide, and to do that we need to create a smooth, stable product that appeals to a broader fanbase. A concern we frequently hear from our Managers is ETH's volatile swings and their impact on the platform.
By pegging Ethereum to the US Dollar when setting rewards for podium wins and thresholds, we'll bring more consistency to your Sorare experience.
Here are the ETH reward totals for 2022:
- The 205-point threshold will offer $25 worth of ETH - The 250-point threshold will offer $50 worth of ETH - ETH distributed to podium spots will follow a similar conversion rate
These changes will take effect at the start of the European Season in August.
