TFT 12.14 PBE Patch Notes: What We Know So Far

TFT 12.13 patch notes arrived with us just a short while ago. Some changes were made to the Double Up game mode, and we saw some notable system changes. From stage 1 to stage 5, a number of major and minor balance changes were made to units. The long-awaited Aurelion Sol rework arrived, power changes were made, and Black Hole damage was reworked. So how will TFT Patch 12.14 look? When will TFT 12.14 patch notes arrive? In this article we'll talk about the TFT 12.14 PBE patch and give you the early changes coming with the update.

TFT 12.14 PBE Patch Notes: What's New?

The game's lead designer Stephen 'Mortdog' Mortimer said in a tweet that TFT Patch 12.14 won't include balance changes, but will mostly contain quality-of-life improvements. Cruel Pact was one of the new prismatic Augments added to Set 7. It let players sacrifice their health in exchange for starting levels, and players thought it could be made stronger once introduced. However, after being played for a while, it turned out not to be a very good Augment, and for this reason most players chose not to play it. Cruel Pact is expected to get an adjustment like the following in the new patch:

• Cruel Pact: Buying XP costs 4 health instead of gold. Buying XP costs 6 health instead of gold. Heal 3 health each round.

Next, it's also known that two QoL changes will be made regarding the player base's two biggest complaints. During Krugs (Stages 2-7), zero-item drops from the first item will be removed, and now every player will be guaranteed at least one item drop at this stage. Playing the game without items feels like a hard mode and isn't exactly fun, so this will be one of the better variations. The other will be adding a timer for things like armories or orb or radiant item shops.

When Will TFT 12.14 Patch Notes Arrive?

Patch 12.14 is expected to arrive on servers on the same date as the LoL patch notes, that is, Wednesday, July 27.
