How to Download Windows 11 and Fix the Blue Screen Error

Released in October, Windows 11 came with serious bugs compared to its earlier versions. Because of this, Microsoft keeps rolling out new updates to fix the existing issues.

How Do You Download Windows 11?

• Turn on your computer and click the "Start" button.
• Click the "Settings" button.
• Click the "Update & Security" option.
• Make sure you’re in the "Windows Update" menu on the left-hand side.
• If your computer supports it, you’ll see on the screen that Windows 11 is available to download. If your system doesn’t support it, you’ll see a warning that says, "This PC doesn’t currently meet all the system requirements for Windows 11."
• After downloading, follow the on-screen instructions just as you would for a Windows 10 update, and complete the Windows 11 installation.

Windows 11's Error Screen Turns Blue Again

With Windows 11, we said goodbye to many things we’d gotten used to from earlier versions. Chief among them is the blue screen error. With the new version, the blue screen had been replaced by a black screen. Microsoft recently officially released the 22000.346 beta build for Windows Insider users. The new update is expected to fix a number of issues, including stuttering in the Taskbar and Start Menu, the inability to adjust Bluetooth volume, and optimization problems in 32-bit apps. However, the most eye-catching detail here was the return of the classic blue screen error.

For now, the new update is limited to Windows Insider users. Because of this, we'll keep seeing various errors on a black screen for a little while longer. Once the update rolls out to all users, the classic blue screen that's been with us since Windows 1.0 will make its return.
