Dying Light 2: Siding with Marco
Before players are given a choice about what to do with Marco, they first have to find him. Finding Marco's location can be a bit of a headache, since his placement on the map is a little clunky. After accepting Julian's side quest, players should head to the "Find Marco" diamond on the map. We've explained how you can find Marco in this article. After finding out that Marco accidentally supplied the Bazaar with contaminated water, Aiden has the right to choose between turning in the supplier or looking the other way. Siding with Marco will cause Julian to take the blame for a crime he committed by accident. With no evidence that Marco supplied contaminated water to the Bazaar, Julian will be arrested for his "crime." Since the boss who drank the water won't survive, this will turn into a murder charge at that point. Unfortunately, Julian will take the fall, Aiden will look the other way, but since players acted sensibly, they'll receive extra flour from Marco as a "reward." In total, players will receive EXP, 250 Old World Money, and 5 Flour.
Dying Light 2: Siding with Julian
If players choose to turn Marco in to the Bazaar, he'll attack players in a fit of rage, leading to a pretty tough boss fight thanks to Aiden's low level at that point. Marco uses unblockable Power Attacks and forces players to dodge and then strike back with fast rush hits. After Marco falls, players will have to return to the Bazaar and report that Marco was actually the one who contaminated the water supply. Players will also need to inform the survivors that Marco is dead, and at that point, the quest will end the same way no matter which dialogue option they choose. For siding with Julian and taking down Marco, players will only get EXP and a blue-tier blunt weapon, which makes siding with Marco a more appealing option for those looking for money and extra resources.
