FC 24 Young Potential Goalkeepers! Best Wonderkids Under 19

Looking for a young potential goalkeeper in FC 24, formerly known as FIFA 24, but tired of seeing the same names? The right place is still Gamer Papers. In our list, where we scouted and added the highest-potential wonderkid goalkeepers specifically, we picked out goalkeeper prospects whose names you've heard little or nothing about, but who have very high potential as goalkeepers.

In this article we'll look at the highest-potential goalkeepers, but with one difference: by not including any goalkeeper over the age of 19... We tried to bring you names a bit removed from the usual, different and new faces.

In adding these players to the list, we focused on both their performances last season and their overall potential.

Who's on the FC 24 Young Potential Goalkeepers List?

Mike Penders - Genk (56 OVR -75 PT) Age 16

Genk's 16-year-old young goalkeeper is the lowest-potential keeper on our list. If he develops well in real life, his potential can easily rise, but for now he has a potential rating you could buy cheap, develop, and sell.

Jankat Yilmaz - Galatasaray (58 OVR -76 PT) Age 18

Jankat, whom GS has big hopes for in the future, is only 18 and still developing. We predict he'll have a maximum potential rating of 76 in FC 24.

Theo Sander - AAB (63 OVR - 78 PT) Age 17

Even though he's only 17, starting EA FC 24 at 63 rating shows he could complete his development quickly. If he gets playing time in real life, it could push his potential rating much higher, but I project he can rise to a maximum of 78 at the start of the game.

The player also has a chance of transferring to Inter.

Timo Schlieck - RB Leipzig (58 OVR - 78 PT) Age 16

Being a year younger than Theo Sander puts him one spot higher on the list, but since he starts the game at 58 rating, Sander may be the more sensible pick.

Rome-Jayden Owusu-Oduro - AZ (60 OVR -79 PT) Age 19

Owusu-Oduro is 17 and, while getting time with AZ's youth team, is widely expected to break into the first team soon. Though I expect him to have a 79 potential rating at the start of FC 24, he could push his potential even higher as the game progresses.

EA FC 24's Highest-Potential Goalkeepers Under 19

James Beadle - Brighton Albion (58 OVR - 80 PT) Age 19

James Beadle spent last season on loan at Oxford Utd. and managed to get playing time in England's second division. Since Brighton Albion is a club that loves investing in youth and takes it seriously, they'll plan things right for James Beadle and speed up his development. Even though he'll start with a low rating, you can develop him quickly in Career Mode and turn a healthy profit down the line.

Charlie Setford - Ajax (61 OVR - 80 PT) Age 18

Although his overall rating profile is close to James Beadle's, having a higher starting rating in the game and being a year younger gives Charlie Setford the edge.

Faaris Yusufu - Schalke 04 (62 OVR - 84 PT) Age 17

Faaris Yusufu is one of the new gems coming out of Schalke's academy. He's played in every one of his club's youth age groups and is now getting minutes with the under-19 side. Schalke 04 will make the right investment and plan for Faaris Yusufu and will hand him the gloves before long. If he keeps developing correctly next year, I think he can comfortably reach an 84 potential rating in FC 24.

Andrew da Silva Ventura - Gil Vicente (75 OVR - 85 PT) Age 22

Andrew, one of two players on my list over 19, started getting regular playing time after transferring to Gil Vicente, which boosted his rating. Starting the game at a 75 rating means you can play him right away in FC 24 Career Mode, and he's a gem who could comfortably climb to the 85 band in potential.

Elia Caprile - Bari (71 OVR - 86 PT) Age 21

Elia Caprile is another young star prospect on the list who's over 19. I added him because he's a regular starter at Bari and has very high potential. While your chances of playing him right away are a bit lower than with Andrew, thinking his potential rating will be higher pushes him one spot ahead.

EA FC 24 Highest-Potential Goalkeepers Top 3

Dennis Seimen - Stuttgart (62 OVR - 86 PT) Age 17

We've reached the top three of our list. Signing a professional contract with Stuttgart at just 17 shows how much they value him. This season you may see him either on the bench or out on loan somewhere he can play. In FC 24 Career Mode, you can develop him and comfortably hand your goal to Seimen after 3-4 seasons.

Tom Poitoux - Standard Liege (71 OVR - 87 PT) Age 18

Standard Liege is a club famous for developing goalkeepers. Their current No. 1, Arnaud Bodart, also came through Standard Liege's academy and, despite being only 25, has held the gloves for 4 seasons now, since 2019/2020. It's likely they'll hand the gloves to someone at least as good as, if not better than, Bodart, and that name is 18-year-old Poitoux. I think this goalkeeper, who I expect to start the game around a 71 rating, can definitely reach an 87 potential rating if he keeps developing at the same pace, or even more so if he's loaned out somewhere he can play.

André Gomes - Benfica (64 OVR - 88 PT) Age 18

Topping our list is Benfica's young star prospect André Gomes. Having played 13 matches in Portugal's second division last season, Gomes could develop himself behind a goalkeeper like Vlachodimos, be loaned out somewhere he can play, or take over the gloves if Vlachodimos eventually moves on. Given how much Portuguese clubs trust and love developing young players, André Gomes's in-game rating could rise quickly, and he can comfortably reach an 88 potential rating.
