FC 27 Title Update 1.1 releases on October 27. EA's Pitch Notes confirm there are no gameplay balance changes. Career Mode gets new settings and a cleaner Team Management screen, while FUT gets shorter pack reveals and saved SBC filters.

What does FC 27 Title Update 1.1 change in Career Mode?

Career Mode gets the biggest changes. After player feedback, EA overhauled the Team Management layout across several modes. EA says the goal is cleaner navigation and better readability.

New settings let you switch off or adjust the frequency of Unexpected Events and Press Conferences. You can set them when creating a career and in existing saves, so there is no need to restart.

What is new for Player Career and Manager Career?

Player Career gets two new Rivalry objective types:

Consistency Rivalries: avoid being the first to fail an objective.
Match Limit Rivalries: complete objectives within a set time limit.

Manager Career sees transfer and contract tweaks. Clubs and players now give a clear reason when they reject your offer. Wages account for performance bonuses, so players stop demanding inflated base pay when bonuses are on the table. Veterans also no longer demand crucial squad roles out of proportion.

There are general fixes too. Green, grey and red stat values in the Player Profile get better background contrast. PlayStyles now show properly for Youth Academy prospects found on Scouting Missions. The cap on how many players you can scout at once now depends on a scout's Experience rather than Judgement.

EA is also looking at players asking to leave over playing time even when their expectations are met. A fix is being tested and is aimed at a future update.

What changes in FUT and gameplay?

The headline FUT change is pack opening. Based on Closed Beta feedback, the reveal animation is shorter for most higher OVR items. In Streamlined SBCs, filter and sort settings now persist across challenges for the whole session and only reset when you close the game.

FUT matches also get updated referee kit colours that avoid clashing with either team. EA fixed matches defaulting to the opponent's custom pitch line or goal net colour when you had not picked your own.

There are no gameplay balance or tuning changes. EA will publish new Gameplay Developer Notes this week with observations from the first month and possible changes for the next Title Update. Gameplay fixes in 1.1 include:

Players getting permanently stuck in the tutorial.
Players getting stuck in the goal net after slide tackles near the line in 2v2.
Goalkeepers holding the ball too long after a pass request in 1v1.
Long pass presses occasionally sending the ball into your own goal in 3v3 Kickabouts.
Post-play cutscenes showing too often instead of standard replays.

What is fixed in The Grounds and Clubs?

The Grounds fixes cover the Pro Camera rotating incorrectly, match ratings below 6.0 not showing and crashes when entering the Store. Clubs Live Events can no longer have two active goalkeepers on one team. EA also says new features for The Grounds and Clubs are coming in a nearby update.
