FIFA 23 TOTW 22 Release Date and Player Predictions

The FIFA 23 Team of the Week promo's twenty-second edition is coming, and TOTW 22 will take its place in Ultimate Team packs in just a few days. With names like Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Heung-min Son, we're guessing you won't want to miss FUT Champions this week.

FIFA 23 TOTW 22 Release Date

Team of the Week 22 will release on Wednesday, March 29. The new set of in-form items will replace the TOTW 21 cards and will be available in packs for one week. On Friday, March 31, TOTW 22 cards will be joined by the anticipated FUT Birthday Team 2 items in packs.

France national team captain Kylian Mbappe set the example for his country, comfortably beating the Netherlands 4-0 in Euro qualifying. Paris Saint-Germain's forward scored Antoine Griezmann's first goal and then added two more to seal the result. Mbappe is gearing up for FUT 23's seventh special item. This time, Mbappe's 93 GEN item, with 99 Pace, 95 Dribbling, and 91 Shooting, could have his primary position at left wing.

Cristiano Ronaldo (OVR 92)

Ronaldo beat Luxembourg by six goals in his first competitive match under Roberto Martinez as the new national team's manager. Alongside five-star skill moves and a four-star weak foot, he could get a 92 GEN TOTW 22 card with 94 Shooting, 87 Dribbling, and 84 Pace.

Heung-min Son (OVR 91)

Another player who got a lift from the international break is Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-min Son, who scored two goals against Colombia on Friday evening. His South Korea side couldn't manage the win, only drawing 2-2, which could hurt Son's chances of making TOTW 22. If EA rewards his efforts with an out-of-form card in FIFA 23, we think Son could get an excellent 91 GEN forward item with 92 Shooting, 90 Pace, 88 Dribbling, and 87 Passing, plus a five-star weak foot.

Marcel Sabitzer (OVR 87)

Austrian central midfielder and Manchester United player Marcel Sabitzer makes the Team of the Week squad this time around. The 29-year-old scored two goals as Austria beat Azerbaijan 4-1, potentially earning himself an 87 GEN Standout TOTW card in FUT 23. If Sabitzer is picked for a Standout TOTW item, he'll have some excellent stats, like 88 Shooting, 87 Passing, 87 Dribbling, and 84 Physicality.

Declan Rice (OVR 88)

West Ham's Declan Rice, currently one of the hottest properties in European football, keeps producing on the international stage too. The 24-year-old sealed the opening goal and won Man of the Match as England beat reigning Euro champions Italy 2-1. The English central midfielder is gearing up for the season's second in-form match this time with an 88 GEN card featuring 89 Physicality, 88 Defending, and 81 Dribbling.
