Goose Goose Duck Roles!
Goose Goose Duck is a social game you can play with friends, where you complete tasks while dodging malicious Mallards and other evil bird species. With many playable roles, in-game voice chat, and extensive tasks to complete, it resembles Among Us. The game is free, but there are some items available for in-game purchase. In our article, we'll look at what the Goose Goose Duck roles are and a list of all the roles.
Goose Goose Duck Roles 2024
Roles: Neutral
There are six possible neutral roles, each with its own unique goal:
- Dodo: The Dodo wins if the players vote.
- Dueling Dodos: Two Dodos are assigned at the start of the match, but only one can win. To do this, one Dodo must make sure no one is voted out until the other Dodo dies. Complete the tasks marked "fake" on the checklist to gain the ability to kill your fellow Dodo.
- Hawk: Hawks only win if they're the sole survivor. In that case, Geese can only win by completing all tasks, and Ducks can only win by sabotaging while the Hawk is alive.
- Pelican: Pelicans also win by being the sole survivor, but they have one small bonus: eliminated players don't die until the meeting held between each round, so if you've been eliminated, just sit tight — as long as the Pelican is removed after eating you, you'll be saved.
- Dove: Doves can only win a match if they manage to infect every player in the game with a bird-borne infectious disease. However, your progress resets at every meeting call, meaning you have to reinfect everyone the next round.
- Vulture: Vultures are the only birds in the game that even remotely resemble their real-life counterparts. To win as a Vulture, you need to swallow three corpses.
Roles: Duck
Ducks can be assigned any of the following roles:
- Assassin: You win if you correctly guess a player's role during a meeting. Otherwise, if you guess wrong, you die.
- Cannibal: Cannibals can't eat corpses like Vultures can, but they have the added advantage of actually being able to kill and eat their prey. If you have two Geese to kill but don't want a meeting to interrupt you, this is a great strategy — you can prevent anyone from finding your first victim's body, giving you more time to hunt the other.
- Demolitionist: Demolitionists can plant bombs on other players. Bombs will eventually explode, so if someone gives you a bomb, make sure to pass it to another player as soon as possible.
- Esper: You can talk to other players remotely and kill them.
- Hitman: This role appears alongside the "Guardian" Goose role. To win, kill the target the Guardian is trying to protect.
- Identity Thief: When you kill someone, you take on their appearance until the next meeting.
- Invisibility: You make yourself temporarily invisible.
- Morphling: Use a syringe to turn into another character for 30 seconds.
- Ninja: You can kill two birds with one blade (provided they're close enough to you), but your kill ability's cooldown triples. The kill ability recharges faster when a player is in restricted areas.
- Professional: Geese can't see your victims, but the body will be automatically reported when they get close. You can't report bodies yourself.
- Serial Killer: Killing your assigned target reduces your kill cooldown.
- Silencer: Once per round, you can silence another player during each meeting, but you lose access to vents.
- Snitch: If you're the only one who votes to eject someone during a meeting, that person is jailed.
- Spy: If you're the only one who votes to eject someone during a meeting, that player's role will be revealed to you.
- Undertaker: You can drag corpses to hide them, but doing so will significantly reduce your movement speed.
Roles: Goose
Geese can be assigned any of the following roles:
- Adventurer: You can survive critical sabotages that could otherwise lead to a Goose's death.
- Astral: Your ghost form can pass through walls.
- Avenger: If you witness another Goose being killed, you're temporarily granted the ability to kill.
- Bird Watcher: You can see through walls, but it comes at the cost of your normal vision.
- Guardian: Protect your assigned target from the Hitman.
- Celebrity: Alerts other players when you're killed.
- Canadian: If someone kills you, your body will be automatically reported.
- Detective: Investigate players to see whether they killed anyone that round.
- Engineer: The mini-map can temporarily show the location where live ducks are causing sabotages. You can also temporarily access vents.
- Locksmith: You can open the jail door whenever you want.
- Lover: Survive together with your lover to win.
- Medium: You can see how many ghosts there are. If the number goes up, you know someone has been killed.
- Mimic: Ducks see you as another duck and may accidentally kill other ducks if they're not careful.
- Undertaker: Investigating a corpse reveals that player's role.
- Party Duck: Can give players a piercing sound during meetings (like Silencer, but much funnier).
- Politician: If a meeting ends in a tie, your vote wins. You also can't be sent to jail.
- Sheriff: You can kill anyone, but killing a Goose kills you.
- Street Urchin: You can open locks from the inside.
- Stalker: You can follow nearby players to reveal details about them.
- Scout: You can see who's outside during a sandstorm.
- Hitman: You can kill one bird per game.
