Using Server Settings

You need to open the Discord server you created from within the app.

• Once it's open, select the server's name near the top of Discord, next to the Home button.
• Select Server Settings.
• Select Delete Server next to the trash can icon.
• Discord will ask you to type in your server's name.
• Select the Delete Server button.

Although you can recover a deleted Discord account, the platform doesn't offer the same option for a deleted server. Once you go through with deleting your server, it will be permanently removed from Discord's systems. So make sure you save anything valuable from your server before deleting it.

How Do I Delete a Server on Discord on iPhone?

• Open the Discord app on iPhone, tap the server you want to delete on the side, then select the three dots next to the server name in the top right.
• Tap Settings > Overview.
• Scroll down and tap Delete Server. A message will appear asking you to confirm the deletion. Tap Yes. You won't need to type the server's name.

How Do I Delete a Discord Server I Don't Have Admin Access To?

If you don't have admin control of a server (which would be the case if you didn't create the server or weren't transferred ownership), then you can't delete it. However, if you believe the server itself contains illegal, dangerous, spam, or similar content, you can report it to Discord, which will launch its own investigation and may decide to delete it. You can do this through Discord's official request submission page, where you can provide evidence via screenshots. You can also include a link to specific messages relevant to your report.
