After the LoL 26.22 patch changes, the largest win-rate swings on the KR movers list belong to picks with fewer than 500 games. Among picks with 500+ games, the steepest drop is top lane Teemo: he fell from S to B and lost 6.2 points of win rate (44.8%, 628 games).

This article compares 26.21 with 26.22 on the KR server. First come the ten biggest risers and fallers. Then we check where Riot's changed champions sit in the data. For the full role list, see our LoL 26.22 tier list.

Why the top risers stay in the table only

Support Sylas (+8.2 points, 278 games), top lane Sion (+7.7 points, 389 games) and jungle Zed (+7.3 points, 290 games) sit at the top of the risers list. All three have fewer than 500 games in this 26.22 cut, so we do not feature them as the patch's defining climbs.

No riser on this KR list has reached 500 games yet. That is a sample-size fact, not a claim that those picks are weak.

Teemo, Xin Zhao and Locke

Top lane Teemo dropped from S to B (-6.2 points, 628 games). Riot's 26.22 Summoner's Rift notes list no Teemo change, so we do not tie the drop to a patch edit.

Jungle Xin Zhao fell from S to C (-5.4 points, 550 games). Mid lane Locke, who was nerfed this patch, dropped from S+ to B (-4.4 points, 703 games). Riot cut his Q stack damage and shortened W from 6 seconds to 5. Notes and data point the same way here; the data still cannot show whether that is the only cause.

Jungle Briar fell from S to B (-5.1 points, 513 games) and top lane Gangplank from S+ to A (-4.2 points, 752 games).

Where do Riot's changed champions sit in the data?

The table lists champions with Summoner's Rift changes in the 26.22 notes. Each shows its most played role. Champions under 200 games are left out.

Yasuo's Q ratio dropped from 105% total AD to 100%. In this sample he is still a high-volume mid and top pick; the table shows his most played role and the win-rate change recorded so far. Thresh was also nerfed (base attack damage 56 to 54, and R damage down) and remains a high-pick support. Naafiri was buffed and sits in S tier in the jungle over 769 games (52.7% win rate, +3.4 points).

Data and method

This article uses ranked solo/duo matches from the KR server only. The sample mixes KR Challenger and Grandmaster games collected by GamerPapers with matches from player profiles looked up on the site (all ranks). It is not a random sample of the server and not professional-play data.

The numbers in this article come from 12,343 ranked solo/duo games on the KR server. Lists include champion and role pairs with at least 200 games. Pairs under 500 games carry a "small sample, read with caution" note in the tables. We do not feature them in the title or the intro.

Ban rate is champion-wide, not per role: bans happen before roles are assigned, so every role row of a champion shows the same value.

Comparisons with the previous patch refer to 26.21. Its KR sample was 141,387 games; the 26.22 sample is still smaller, so gaps can move as more games land. The game client shows this patch as 16.22; Riot's official name is 26.22. Most movers still have 200-500 games in 26.22, while the 26.21 KR sample was much larger, so gaps can be noisy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the biggest riser in LoL 26.22?

On the raw KR list it is support Sylas, but he has only 278 games. No riser has reached 500 games in this cut, so we do not name a featured climber.

Who fell the most in 26.22 among larger samples?

Top lane Teemo. He dropped from S to B and lost 6.2 points of win rate over 628 games.

Was Locke nerfed, and does the data agree?

Yes. Riot cut Locke's Q stack damage and shortened W from 6 seconds to 5. In this sample he fell from S+ to B in mid lane over 703 games.

Why read these changes with caution?

The 26.21 KR sample was 141,387 games, against 12,343 for 26.22. The newer sample is still smaller.
