TFT 12.4 Patch Notes: Neon Nights Champions and Traits

2022's first major update is here for Teamfight Tactics with the TFT 12.4 patch, marking the launch of Neon Nights. The Mid-Set update for TFT Set 6.5 brings more than 20 new champions and traits, a batch of new cosmetics, and a number of quality-of-life changes.

With TFT's newest Mid-Set expansion, Neon Nights, it's time to ring in the new year in style. The Set 6.5 update, arriving with TFT patch 12.4, brings Gizmos & Gadgets and will be the biggest update yet, with more than a third of the champion roster changing.

But that's not all. New cosmetics, quality-of-life changes, and balance changes to surviving champions will also ship as part of the TFT 12.4 patch. Here's everything we know so far.

What's in the TFT 12.4 Patch?

Neon Nights Launch: New Champions and Traits

As with every Mid-Set release, Neon Nights will refresh the TFT Set 6 champion and trait pool. It's the biggest refresh yet, with Riot swapping out 21 units and five traits for new options.

Five champions will make their TFT debut, including newcomers Zeri and Renata Glasc alongside Arcane antagonist Silco. Corki and Alistar, along with new splash art for Ahri, Draven, Morgana, and more, will also get their first TFT looks.

On the trait side, Academy and Imperial are out, replaced by Debonair and Hextech. Mastermind, Rival, and Striker are also joining the roster. You can find the full list of champion and trait changes coming with Neon Nights in our hub.

That's on top of more than 80 new Hextech Augments, which will diversify the range already in the game.

New Battle Pass and Little Legends Coming for TFT Set 6.5

It wouldn't be a new TFT release without new cosmetics. The TFT 12.4 patch will launch a new battle pass — Gizmos & Gadgets Pass II — along with new Little Legends fitting the Neon Nights theme.

Abyssia is a brand-new Little Legends archetype coming to TFT, with a high-tech theme inspired by Project. A new Plant Buddy Sprite, along with new Fenroar, QiQi, and Lightcharger variants, will also be included in the battle pass.

When Is the TFT 12.4 Patch Coming?

The TFT 12.4 patch is expected to hit official servers on Wednesday, February 16.
