TFT 12.4B Patch Notes: What Changed in the Meta

2022's first major update is here for Teamfight Tactics with the TFT 12.4 patch, marking the launch of Neon Nights. The Mid-Set update for TFT Set 6.5 includes over 20 new champions and traits, a batch of new cosmetics, and several quality of life changes.

With TFT's newest Mid-Set expansion, Neon Nights, it's time to ring in the new year in style. The Set 6.5 update, arriving with TFT patch 12.4's Gizmos & Gadgets, is the biggest update yet, changing over a third of the champion roster.

But that's not all. New cosmetics, quality of life changes, and balance changes to surviving champions also shipped as part of the TFT 12.4 patch.

What Changes Are in the TFT 12.4B Patch?

As always happens with new set launches, TFT's game balance is a little chaotic as Neon Nights kicks off. That said, Riot is cracking down on a handful of standout champions in TFT patch 12.4b on February 22.

The mid-patch update specifically targets a few champions: four-cost carries Irelia, Sivir, and Renata Glasc are getting nerfed after dominating the meta. On the support side, Silco is getting hit with nerfs to his Mastermind mana bonus and spell bonuses.

Early-game Bruiser duo Rek'Sai and Sejuani will be a little less oppressive following their own changes. Vex is the only champion buffed in the b-patch, despite her low mana costs.

Renata

• Poison Wave Damage: 55/85/255 ⇒ 45/70/240

Sejuani

• Attack Damage: 65 ⇒ 55
• Fury of the North bonus Armor and Magic Resist: 75/100/150 ⇒ 50/75/125

Silco
