Top War: Battle Game is a mobile strategy game developed by Topwar Studio. As in every mobile game, the moves you make in this game matter a lot. The game is generally based on a merge mechanic. Top War Battle Game Guide for Beginners: Tactics and Tips

First, let's note that your main goal in the game is to expand your base. To do this, you need a large number of high-level troops, coins, and plenty of research in the game. The game features currencies made up of coins and gems. Beyond that, you need technological items to raise the level cap for troops, train high-level troops from the barracks, and conduct research. To get those, you need to defeat your enemies.

Research to Build High-Level Buildings

If you want to build high-level buildings directly from the build menu, you need to research construction technologies. For example, when you start the game, you can build a level 1 barracks and a level 1 mine. To level them up, you need to merge them. If you want to build high-level buildings directly from the build menu, you need to focus on making a research upgrade. Tap the research center building at your base, and on the third row you'll see four research upgrades: mine construction, barracks construction, naval base construction, and air base construction. To build high-level mines/barracks/naval bases/air bases directly from the build menu, you can research and upgrade Mine/Barracks/Naval Base/Air Base Construction.

If you don't have enough technology, you can go to the monster search section from the obtain button and kill monsters on the map to grind the items you need. Access to building high-level buildings directly from the build menu also lets you view the new levels of mines/troops.

Raise Your Maximum Level Cap

The maximum merge level cap is limited by the Combination research level. Go to the research center. Here you'll find Ground Forces Combination, Naval Forces Combination, and Air Forces Combination. The Ground Forces Combination level determines the maximum level of ground forces (ground troops/units like tanks), the Naval Forces Combination level determines the maximum level of Naval Forces (water-type troops/units), and the Air Forces Combination level determines the maximum level of air forces.

Expand Your Base

At the start of our article, we already said this was your main goal in the game. Let's note that it's hard to build many different buildings due to the limited space in the area. Tap the snow-covered trees around the area to unlock them by spending gold. To unlock or buy more land, you need to reach a certain level. You can check your current level from the top left corner of the screen. You need to earn experience points to level up. To earn EXP, keep producing troops, building buildings, and conducting research at the research center.

Level Up Your Heroes

There are many heroes to recruit in Top War Battle Game, and each hero has unique abilities and traits. Tap the Captain's hat to open the hero menu, then tap the hero recruitment button. You can recruit heroes for free. In the hero menu, you can use the hero avatar, level-up, and EXP guides to give a hero EXP and level them up.

Complete Quests

Tap the grid button above the build button in the bottom left corner. This will take you to the quest list where you can check event and reward quests. Make sure you complete these quests for chests, gems, coins, and other rewards.

Join a Group

Joining an alliance gives you access to options like gifts, the battle/rally function, and the alliance store.
