How did TES win without ZUIAN?

Insider Gaming notes that TES were not favored coming into the event, especially with top laner ZUIAN missing out because of visa issues. Veteran 369 has stepped in.

369 had taken a break from pro play in April and had been streaming Valorant. According to Insider Gaming, he was called up just a week before Worlds. Even so, he finished the series against Bin, one of the best top laners in the world, with a combined 8/4/14 KDA.

BLG won game one. In game two, TES were 5,000 gold down before a huge team fight from JackeyLove's Lucian turned it around. TES then dominated game three to book a top-eight spot.

369 keeps his Worlds streak alive

Insider Gaming reports this is 369's sixth Worlds, and he has now reached the knockout stage every time.
