Epic free games: Flotsam free Nov 5-12

Epic free games rotate again on November 5, 2026 at 16:00 UTC: Flotsam, normally $24.99, is free to keep for a week. Claim it before November 12 at 16:00 UTC and it stays in your Epic library.

In the same window, Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms offers Morte's Champions of Renown Pack when you launch the game through Epic. The previous giveaway, Sorry We're Closed, drops off the free list at the same timestamp.

What is the Epic free games schedule this week?

According to Epic's free-games promotion data and store calendar:

To claim Flotsam, open the Epic Games Launcher or store page, hit Get, then Place Order. The total shows $0.00. You do not need to install immediately — just add it before the window closes.

What kind of game is Flotsam?

Flotsam is a colorful post-apocalyptic survival city-builder. You scavenge plastic and driftwood from the ocean surface, turn salvage into homes and workshops, keep people fed and watered, and rescue specialists who unlock new buildings.

Epic's listing supports single-player play, controllers and cloud saves. At a $24.99 list price, it is the headline keepable giveaway for anyone who likes relaxed builders.

What do you get with the Idle Champions pack?

Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is already free-to-play. This week's Epic login reward is Morte's Champions of Renown Pack, which unlocks Morte, Nordom, Donaar, Sentry and Sheila, 32 Platinum Chests for each character, two week-long potions and an exclusive Kapak Draconian familiar.

So Flotsam is a permanent base-game gift; Idle Champions is a timed login pack. Grabbing both takes a couple of minutes. If you still need Sorry We're Closed, claim it before 16:00 UTC on November 5.

If you miss Flotsam, the next Epic rotation arrives on November 12. To unlock the Idle Champions pack you typically need to launch the game through Epic at least once; adding it to your library alone may not be enough. Checking both offers on the same Thursday evening is the simplest habit.

November is crowded with free and discounted PC catalogs. Alongside Epic, Game Pass and Humble Choice also posted fresh lists, so a weekly sweep still pays off for budget players.

We covered last week's giveaway in our Sorry We're Closed free-game story. For other November catalog deals, see Xbox Game Pass November wave 1 and Humble Choice November 2026.

Epic swaps free games every Thursday. Add Flotsam before November 12 or the price returns to $24.99. Double-check the Idle Champions pack on its Epic page while the same window is live.

Bottom line: claim Flotsam at 16:00 UTC, launch Idle Champions once through Epic, and make sure Sorry We're Closed is already in your library. The next free-game swap lands on November 12.

Flotsam sits alongside other cozy builders that often rotate onto Epic's free list. Library bloat is real, but locking in a $24.99 title for free is still a clear win if you were watching the Steam price anyway.
