Farlight 84 Release Date and What You Need to Know

Last November, an upcoming battle royale game called Farlight 84 was announced, set to launch for both iOS and Android at some stage. It looks like a promising game that aims to blend elements from various genres into a single multiplayer experience. What Is Farlight 84?

At its core, Farlight 84 is a 40-player battle royale game, but it aims to mix up the formula in several ways. Even so, it still follows the familiar pattern of dropping a group of players onto a map to fight it out before being the last one standing.

Once you've dropped in, you'll need to scour the map to search for various weapons. Farlight 84 has four weapon manufacturers called Prism Technology, 9A Corporation, Murphy Security, and Wasteland Spirit. Besides firing bullets, these weapons also come with a unique ability that the developers say will add new tactics to gunfights.

There's a weapon called the White Dwarf, and when its ability is activated it deploys a turret that attacks the ground, while the sniper rifle Stellar Wind can create a particle shield that protects players from damage.

When Is the Farlight 84 Release Date?

We currently don't know the Farlight 84 release date. Unlike most games, the developers haven't even given a rough window for when it might launch globally. They appear to be taking a "it'll launch when it's ready" approach, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. That said, we do have an idea of where the game's development currently stands.

The developers ran an Android beta test phase in Brazil, India, and Indonesia between January 14-19 this year. During that period, players were able to download Farlight 84 through Google Play, and according to the store page it was downloaded more than 100,000 times.

While that doesn't directly tell us what the Farlight 84 release date will be, it's a sign that development is progressing well. On top of that, the developers will also be hosting another beta test in May. They haven't specified which one yet, though they have said a European country will be included.

How to Download and Install the Farlight 84 APK

While we wait for the official Farlight 84 release date, you might find yourself searching for the game's APK. After all, it was previously available in Brazil, India, and Indonesia, so it's reasonable to assume it exists online somewhere. The answer to that question is both yes and no. While you can download a Farlight 84 APK from sites like APKPure, you won't be able to play the game since the servers are currently offline following the January beta test. You can, of course, download the game ahead of the May beta release. However, we recommend following the game's Twitter account to see which countries are included first before doing so.
