Genshin Impact New Characters: Yelan and Kuki Shinobu

Two new Genshin Impact characters that will soon join the free-to-play RPG have been revealed. No firm release date has been announced yet, but if a slippery Hydro operative and an Electro ninja are on your wishlist, now is the time to start stockpiling Fate for their eventual release.

Who Are the New Genshin Impact Characters?

Yelan is described as a Hydro-wielding employee of the Ministry of Civil Affairs in Inazuma, while Kuki Shinobu, the ninja-themed deputy leader of the Arataki Gang, has high-voltage skills of her own.

While it's likely to be a while before Yelan and Kuki make their first appearance in Genshin Impact, this week brings a new update to the game with version 2.6, Zephyr of the Violet Garden, which does feature some new characters.

Genshin Impact Character Details

The main draw of this update will be the newest five-star character, Kamisato Ayato, who combines Hydro-infused sword strikes with teleportation to shred enemies apart. A brand-new explorable area called Chasm launches on March 30, along with the start of the Irodori Festival, and taking part in various carnival events also gives you a chance to unlock Xingqiu as a free character.
