3 Support Champions That Will Push You Toward Master

League of Legends has so many support champions that it can sometimes be hard to know which one to play. Some are extremely fun, some are very easy to master, but which ones are the toughest, top-tier support champions in LoL?

We're going to take a quick look at some support champions that take a bit of time to master, but are very rewarding and feel a lot of fun to play. With these picks, you'll roam, control the map and apply pressure across the map!

3. Rakan

Playing Rakan is a lot of fun. He can protect his allies, land a small heal if he manages to hit his Q, and knock enemies airborne with his W. The hard part is putting this whole puzzle together. The difficult part of this unique support pick is knowing how to combine his abilities.

His W, Grand Entrance, is his main form of CC, and while it has a wide area of effect, it's quite hard to land, especially with the sheer number of dashes we have in the game right now. The delay before the ability triggers also gives champions a chance to get out of the area.

You'll need to master every skill shot he has. Landing your Q properly will take some time, and knowing when to dive onto an opponent and then use your W again will take time too. But once you've got it all down, no other support will be as fun to play as Rakan.

2. Bard

Bard looks like a really fun champion, and his kit is unique and interesting. If you want to be able to roam all over the map and play the game, set off on a magical journey to the other side of the map with Bard! You won't regret it.

You'll have to go out of your way to collect chimes, which means you may sometimes need to leave your partner alone in the lane. In lower elos, where communication is essentially nonexistent, this can cause some friction on your team.

Knowing when to use his ultimate is also hard. It's basically a giant AoE Zhonya's, and if used at the wrong time or on the wrong champions, you can end up helping your enemies instead of your own team. Let's not even start on his portal placement, because when you don't know what you're doing, you'll be opening portals to your death around the clock.

1.Thresh

If there's one champion worth mastering, add Thresh to your list. Thanks to his crowd control, his engage potential, and the ever-growing armor he gets from his passive, he's one of the best support champions in any meta. If there's one champion we'd recommend mastering, it should be Thresh.

You'll need to get a handle on his hook and how it works properly. You can flash-cast the hook to pull yourself toward your target, and then use your Flay to send them airborne. This combo is especially variable in the early stages of the laning phase.

Mastering Flay is hard, and knowing where to place your lanterns and when to throw them also takes some time in the game. Once you've mastered it, it's worth it, because playing Thresh is a lot of fun.
