GamerPapers data: patch 26.21, TR server, 28,931 ranked matches

Why does top lane Yasuo stand out?
Top lane Yasuo had a 43.7% win rate over 332 games in 26.20. In 26.21 he is at 52.1% over 1,308 games. Riot's 26.21 notes contain no Summoner's Rift change for Yasuo. So we do not tie the rise to a patch change. The previous sample was small, and part of the gap may come from that.
Top lane Irelia rose from B to S (+6.5 points). Riot's Summoner's Rift notes list no change for her. Senna moved from C to A in support, and Nocturne from C to A in the jungle.

Twitch and Xayah in the bot lane
Two bot laners stand out. Twitch went from B to S with 53.2% over 2,003 games (+4.7 points). Xayah also went from B to S with 54.2% over 1,311 games (+4.6 points). Neither was changed directly. The notes did nerf Hubris and Gluttonous Greaves for ranged users, but this data is not enough to link the two.
Rammus climbed from A to S+ in the jungle (744 games, 55.9%). Yet Riot nerfed his W. Data and notes point in opposite directions here. This data cannot tell us why.

Lee Sin: notes and data agree
Jungle Lee Sin fell from 49.5% to 42.9% and from A to C tier (1,976 games). Riot raised his W cooldown from 7 to 8 seconds this patch. It also cut the kick and collision damage of his R. Notes and data point the same way. Still, the data cannot show whether this is the only cause.
Top lane Yone dropped from S+ to A (-6.4 points, 2,128 games). Riot lowered his Q ratio from 110% to 105% AD. Tristana fell from S to B in the bot lane (-5.2 points, 2,413 games), after an early Q attack speed nerf. In both cases the direction matches.

Top lane Ornn fell from S+ to A; his previous sample was only 208 games. Seraphine slipped from S+ to S in support, and Brand from A to B. None of the three was changed in the notes.

Data and method
Mixed sample: ranked matches of TR and EUW Challenger/Grandmaster players collected by GamerPapers, plus matches of player profiles looked up on the site (all ranks). Not a random sample of the server and not pro-play data.
The numbers in this article come from 28,931 ranked solo/duo games. Lists include champion and role pairs with at least 200 games. Pairs under 500 games carry a "small sample, read with caution" note in the tables. We do not feature them in the title or the intro.
Ban rate is champion-wide, not per role: bans happen before roles are assigned, so every role row of a champion shows the same value.
Trend figures compare against the previous patch, 26.20. Its TR sample was 7,007 games, so it is smaller. The game client shows this patch as 16.21; Riot's official name is 26.21. For risers and fallers, 26.20 game counts range from 200 to 750, so the gaps can be noisy.
