How to Get LoL Worlds 2022 Drops and Watch Rewards (September 2022)

If you are not excited enough for Worlds 2022, the free in-game rewards and prizes coming soon may help you along the way. We are here to give you all the information currently available about the upcoming rewards you can get during the League of Legends World Championship. Worlds 2022 will take place in the Americas, starting in Mexico, with the final match in San Francisco, California. But if you do not plan to watch the big event in person, you can still watch it online and even earn some nice rewards while doing so.

What Are Watch Rewards and Drops?

Watch rewards and drops are free items Riot Games gives out during Worlds, and you can earn rewards such as Emotes, Champion Capsules and even Hextech Chests just by watching Worlds. If you have watched Worlds in past years, you may already know the free things Riot Games gives out to build excitement for the big event, and we expect Worlds 2022 to be no exception. We expect the first rewards to be given during the Worlds 2022 Play-In stage, which starts on September 29.

How to Watch Worlds 2022

The most important thing to know to get the free viewing rewards is where to watch the broadcast. To earn drops, you must watch through the lolesports website. You must also be logged in to your Riot account. That way, the drops will automatically arrive in your game inventory.

How to Get Watch Rewards for Worlds 2022

Riot Games has not announced any official information about the Worlds 2022 rewards yet, and for now all we can do is wait and see.

Last year, it was important to make sure you were logged in to the lolesports website while watching. That way, they can be sure you are really watching the games, and the rewards are added to the account you are watching on.

Last year's Watch Rewards were distributed as follows:

• 1 Game Watched: 500 Blue Essence
• 10 More Games Watched: Esports Capsule
• 25 More Games Watched: Esports Capsule + Worlds Rewards Capsule
• Worlds Finals: Esports Capsule + Worlds Rewards Capsule

We still do not know whether we will get the same rewards as last year, but we expect them to be quite similar this year as well.

How to Get Drops for Worlds 2022

Like Watch Rewards, you need to log in and watch the broadcast on the lolesports website. In past years, stream drops have been random, but there have been different situations in which a stream drop was more likely or even guaranteed:

• Pentakill: A drop is guaranteed
• Stolen objective: A drop may occur, but it is not guaranteed
• Multikill: A drop may occur, but it is not guaranteed

So, are you ready for Worlds 2022?
