In brief

AI summary
  1. Club money comes from ticket income, sponsors, and selling developed players, with transfer profits built by buying cheaply and selling high.

  2. Boss Coins can be earned through daily rewards, Business Club offers, achievements, and climbing divisions, then spent on scouts, instant sales, secret training, or training camps.

  3. Cheating includes unfair transfers, manipulating results with multiple teams, and trusting scams offering free coins or requesting account details.

OSM money comes in two separate currencies you need to think about: club money and Boss Coins. Club money grows through ticket income, sponsors and player trading; Boss Coins can be earned for free through official routes such as daily rewards, Business Club offers, achievements and climbing divisions.

The rules come from the community guide OSM Helper's 26/27 guide and OSM's official help centre. There is no cheat or "unlimited money" trick here; this guide only covers ways to build funds within the game's own rules.

Where does club money come from?

Source How it grows (OSM Helper)
Ticket income Upgrading stadium capacity raises ticket income from home matches
Sponsors Offers depend on your league position: high if you are above target, low if below. Contracts only cover home matches
Player sales Sell between 0.75x and 2.5x a player's value
Instant sale Pay 5 Boss Coins to sell a player at his value immediately

The sponsor detail matters: because offers depend on your league position, a good start means higher sponsor income for the rest of the season. When a contract ends, you can sign a new one.

The logic of making money through transfers

Profit from transfers in OSM means buying cheap, raising value and selling high. All of these rules come from OSM Helper's guide:

  1. Buy cheap: Scout signings are usually cheaper than transfer list prices, costing the player's value plus 15 Boss Coins. Transfer list prices also drop slightly after each simulation.
  2. Raise value: Training (one player per position at a time, 8-hour sessions), friendlies and an upgraded training facility (10%, 25%, 50%) speed up development. Young players develop faster.
  3. Sell at the right time: Sales rise as the league progresses and drop after the midpoint. Sales of high-priced players increase later in the league.

You can list at most four players at once, and your squad must keep at least 13 players (at least 3 forwards, 4 midfielders, 4 defenders, 2 goalkeepers). Plan your buy-and-sell cycle around these limits.

Official ways to earn Boss Coins for free

According to OSM's official help centre, every manager can buy Boss Coins or earn them for free through:

  • Daily rewards
  • Business Club offers: Offers provided by partners. According to the official page, rewards can take time to arrive; if they have not arrived after a week, contact the partner using the details inside the offer.
  • Achievements
  • Climbing divisions

Where to spend Boss Coins

Based on the costs in OSM Helper's guide, these are the spends with the clearest return:

Spend Cost (OSM Helper) What you get
Scout Player value + 15 BC Players cheaper than the transfer list
Instant sale 5 BC Cash without waiting
Secret training 3 BC Opponents cannot spy on you, plus 2.5% performance
Training camp 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 BC (in order) 25% better performance next match; up to 6 times per league

Because the camp cost escalates with each use, it makes sense to save the first few for key matches. We could not confirm these figures in an official source, so treat them as community information.

Do not: money methods that count as cheating

According to OSM's official help page, transfers between human-managed teams that clearly favour one side count as cheating. Buying a weak player for a very high price without good reason, or selling a strong player very cheaply, falls into this category. Controlling several teams to fix results is also banned.

Official support also published a scam warning in October 2026: anyone offering "free coins" via WhatsApp, Telegram or social media is not speaking for OSM, and anyone asking for your password or verification code may be a scammer.

What changed since our older guide

Our transfer and money-making guide for the 23/24 season also used the buy-develop-sell idea. The 26/27 version updates it with concrete limits from the community guide (price range, simulation count, list and squad limits) and the official Boss Coin routes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the fastest way to make money in OSM?

There is no guaranteed method. Under the community rules, the core approach is buying cheap, developing players in training, selling them above value at the right time, and boosting sponsor income with a good league position.

How do I get free Boss Coins in OSM?

According to the official help centre: daily rewards, Business Club offers, achievements and climbing divisions.

How do I increase sponsor income?

According to OSM Helper, sponsor offers depend on your league position; finishing above your target brings higher offers. Contracts only cover home matches.

Is there a money hack or coin generator?

Official sources warn against such promises. Coin offers from unofficial channels carry a scam risk, and cheating rules can get your account locked.
