In brief
AI summaryAs of April 2022, VALORANT's Chamber is an aggressive Sentinel whose abilities work like weapons: Trademark (150 credits, max 2), Headhunter (100 credits per bullet, max 8) and Tour De Force (7 Points).
VALORANT's Chamber can use his Rendezvous teleport (free, 20s cooldown) before the round with no cooldown to reach hard-to-reach spots, and it also works as a reliable escape.
In VALORANT, Chamber's biggest downside is his aim dependence, according to the guide: two of his four abilities are only weapons, so he suits players willing to take aim duels for the team.

Shortly after being added to the game, Chamber has proven that he should be in almost every composition, and he keeps taking confident steps toward becoming a player favorite. We see him plenty in most esports matches, and he is an agent who can make up for a team's lack of a sentinel, or watcher, quite well. We could not rest easy without preparing a guide for this agent who has gained so much hype in such a short time. We also could not stay silent about the Chamber guide requests coming from you, so we decided to prepare a Chamber agent guide. Here is the 2022 version of our detailed Chamber agent guide!

What Are Chamber's Abilities in VALORANT?
Unlike the other agents, Chamber's abilities depend on your aiming skill, just like using a weapon. What do we mean? The agent's abilities are more like a weapon than abilities. Let's take a closer look at them.
C ability — Trademark (150 Credits, max 2): PLACE a trap that scans the surroundings for enemies. When visible enemies enter the trap's range, the trap begins a countdown. When the trap activates, it destabilizes its area of effect, slowing the enemies inside. Q Ability — Headhunter (100 credits per bullet, maximum 8 bullets): EQUIP a heavy pistol. The pistol's ALTERNATE FIRE lets you aim down sights. E ability — Rendezvous (Free, 20s cooldown): PLACE two TELEPORTERS. While standing on the ground within range of one of the teleporters, REACTIVATE to quickly teleport to the other teleporter. You can pick up the teleporters from where you left them to RE-PLACE them. X (Ultimate) Ability — Tour De Force (7 Points): EQUIP a powerful, custom sniper rifle that instantly kills enemies it directly hits. Where you kill an enemy, an area is created that slows enemies who enter it.
Although his kit revolves mostly around firepower, Chamber provides some utility in the form of two slows. He also has a handy teleport he can use to return to a safe place.
How Do You Play Chamber?
Chamber is an aggressive sentinel agent, almost like a duelist in VALORANT. He gives his team plenty of utility along with the slows, but most of his kit is only active when you have your own aim and your gun back.
With Headhunter and Tour De Force you may want to attack your opponents with deadly firepower and then instantly escape as if with a Jett dash. At this stage you need to make a very good E ability placement. We would like to remind you that using E before the round is free and has no cooldown. So you can reach hard-to-reach places before the round.
That said, the biggest downside of Chamber's gameplay is that he is very aim-dependent. Two of his four abilities are only a weapon and the third is a teleport ability for you. As a Sentinel, having only one ability that benefits the team is not a great thing if you cannot aim well.
For this reason, you must be willing to push forward, take aim duels and win fights for your team. This is especially prudent on defense, where Chamber can hold sites alone before teleporting to a safe place to wait for the cavalry to rotate.

Place Your Trademark Well
Your Trademark abilities are very powerful when placed in the right position, but they are also incredibly fragile. You want them to go off before enemies suspect or can stop them. This means not placing Trademarks behind wallbangable walls and boxes where they can be shot in advance or exposed in the open.
It will be most effective if you force enemies to look at the Trademark, let it go off, or make them choose between shooting it and an ally holding an angle. Forget the slow (although it is useful); it is a great helper for baiting and peeking.
Let's Look at the Abilities That Challenge Your Aim
Want two weapons to start the game with? With Chamber you can do that thanks to the Headhunter pistol. It is stronger than the Sheriff; if you get your one-taps back, you will want to buy a few bullets for pistol rounds and ecos.
In pistol rounds you can buy four bullets and a Light Shield, or go with eight shots and full health. If you invest in the Headhunter and land your shots, it is definitely worth it. However, if everything fails, at least you have your Classic pistol to fall back on.
Getting an Operator With the Ultimate
Tour De Force is a great investment for Chamber, similar to Jett bringing out her ultimate when the option becomes available. The five-shot sniper kills in one shot anywhere on the body and has more power, leaving slow zones on corpses.
Since the Operator is a heavy investment, thanks to Chamber you can set up a cheap double "sniper" setup. Send one to your Jett (or another teammate) and let Chamber tear enemies apart with Tour De Force.
He even has a reliable escape thanks to the Rendezvous teleports. If you set it up correctly at the start of rounds, he quickly drops a marker and activates it to leave danger. This is what puts him near the top of the list of very strong agents.
That is the end of today's agent guide series. See you in our next agent guides.
