Since our goal in clan wars is fixed, we start by placing our Town Hall at the center of our village and building the backbone of our defense around this point. We place our loot storages around the Town Hall in a cross pattern, which also helps keep our resources out of reach. By placing our mortars around the Town Hall, we can spot and strike potential ground attacks in advance. We can wipe out our opponent with mortar shells. To also fend off potential air attacks, we position an air defense unit near our Town Hall. Since we arrange our village in a hexagon shape, we place a wizard tower and a cannon at each corner.
