PARIVISION took game two with 25 kills to Yandex's one, and Yandex conceded that map after just 16 minutes. They bounced back in the decider.

Can Yandex win a third straight title?

They are two series wins away. Yandex opened the 2026-27 season at PGL Wallachia Season 9, winning it in ATF's debut and taking $300,000 from a $1 million prize pool. Esports.net, citing GosuGamers, notes the event was considered Tier 2 because several top teams were absent.

Yandex then beat Team Spirit 3-1 in the BLAST Slam VIII grand final in Malta on October 11. That title was worth $270,000, with $200,000 for the players and $70,000 for the team.

GamerLegion's surprise run

In the other upper-bracket semi-final, GamerLegion swept OG without dropping a map. Esports.net reports that Hotspawn described the run as the North American team's best international result. Their reward is a meeting with a Yandex side that has won its last two events.

They were the two finalists at The International 2026, where Spirit beat PARIVISION 3-2 in Shanghai on August 23. At PARI Universe, both have taken the hard road.
