When FIFA 22 launched last year, the game saw a range of changes, from women players coming to Pro Clubs to a complete overhaul of Ultimate Team's FUT Champions Weekend League reward system. A wave of FIFA 23 leaks has already surfaced, hinting at free-to-play availability and World Cup content coming in the next installment. However, Electronic Arts hasn't confirmed anything yet and has declined to comment on the speculation. So what new features are expected to be added to FIFA 23? What will FIFA 23's features be?

Online Career Mode

An "Online Career Mode" that lets you and a friend manage teams in the same league is expected. Wouldn't it be great to sign brilliant players together with your friend and compete for trophies?

Cross-Platform Play and the FUT Market

Cross-platform play and the FUT transfer market are another feature expected to come to FIFA 23. Cross-platform play would be a huge boost for groups of friends playing on different consoles. The transfer market would also help balance the market further.

Create-A-Club Stories

Create-A-Club is the Career Mode feature where you build your team from scratch, create your own kits and stadium, and choose a league to join. This feature, added in FIFA 22, is expected to return in FIFA 23.

Expiring Contracts List

Wouldn't it be great to have a list of players with expiring contracts? A dedicated search option that gathers the names of everyone whose contract has expired or been terminated is expected when looking for players in FIFA 23's career mode. Even so, the most important part will still be acting fast and negotiating with the player before everyone else starts sniffing around for a signature.

Ultimate Team Online Tournaments

Will Ultimate Team online tournaments make a comeback? All of the game's attention and focus is on the FUT Champions Weekend League.
