Will FIFA 23 Have a World Cup Mode?

The 2022 World Cup will kick off in November 2022, so players are naturally wondering whether EA will release a dedicated game mode as part of FIFA 23. The answer is yes: FIFA 23 will include a World Cup mode. EA is planning to release a FIFA 23 World Cup game mode built around two FIFA World Cup tournaments. This content will cover both the men's and women's 2022 World Cups. EA had already announced that FIFA 23 will be the last game in the series and that EA Sports FC will take over from FIFA in the summer of 2023, and it has now confirmed that the World Cup content will be in FIFA 23. On the subject, it said: "We are committed to making the next FIFA the best ever, with more features, game modes, World Cup content, clubs, leagues, competitions, and players than any previous FIFA title" the statement read.

FIFA 23 Release Date

There's no official release date yet, but given that the previous game fully launched on Friday, October 1, 2021, and if EA follows the same trend, we can expect FIFA 23 to release around September 30, 2022.
